That's what I'm saying. The whole lot will go. Do you think they're going to blackout all the popular social media sites and leave sites like UTC alone for us to discuss anything? Thats what is going on. A tin foil hat wearer on a protest march in Manchester 6 months ago told me this would happen. I thought he was nuts, now I'm not so sure. I'm not a conspiracy theorist I just find it strange.

FB owns WA and Insta so you'd have to imagine they're all operating from the same servers or somesuch, so it's possibly a cockup or perhaps an internal sabotage. There's a whistleblower you can read about here who's revealed her identity over the weekend, spilling the dirt on FB's incredibly shady practices. It's making the news over in yankeeland, and that makes the timing of all this very weird, though you wouldn't hear about it over here on our own news while we're dealing with third-world-country problems like energy crises and inept police. And goddamn party conferences. Why in god's name do party conferences even exist?

That is why I selected to read what academics where tweeting… I didn’t look into it, but academics don’t tend to quote ‘blokes in their bedrooms’ unless the ‘bloke’ is worth reporting. Part of the skills of PhD grads is their research of sources.

It must have been pretty serious, they were Doctors in their various fields who I reported on. Clearly they were able to patch the problem. Time will tell how effective the patch was… I’m pretty sure there are people working on it still today.
