Due to have the ringwalk around 4am, anyone planning to watch it?

Personally I will be in bed no doubt, but expecting a Fury win on points.

Should win easily as he’s a far superior boxer, he’s almost 20st which surprised me. He has one of the best nutritionists in the business who cooks for him so i can't understand why he carries so much weight. I don’t think his engine is an issue though so the weight will likely benefit him and Wilder will struggle with the extra weight he has put on as his is muscle

Wilder will pose a tougher threat how tough I can't decide i was confident going into the 2nd fight but can't split them on this and gut feeling is saying wilder.

Watched the weigh in... Christ!! I'm the worlds largest adopter of the C word and even I was put to shame by Tyson!

Hope he has a good one though. It'll be a great fight to watch in the morning.

Be setting an alarm for it. Can’t wait for it.

Hopefully Fury gets it done but after watching the weigh in I have a bad feeling there’s something not right with Fury.

How do you mean?

You think he was overcompensating or something because he's not ready?

Or do you mean back to the mental stuff?

Lets hope Fury does not get hit by Wilders right. Its an intriguing fight, but I don't thing it will be as one sided as the last fight

Me too, I can't put my finger on just what, but something is a miss.

I'll still take the Gypsy king on points though.

I hope Fury wins and I say hope as I believe he's had a sh1te 5 months with covid and a newborn with complications.

If it were a very well prepared Tyson Fury he would win at ease.

A close friend is covering the fight for two red tops.. He's spent plenty of time in both camps and at the weigh in.

He's an ex boxer himself.

He feels that Fury, whilst an absolute gobsh1te, is in as good shape as he's ever been..the odds don't make it worth putting your shirt on Fury but a small punt on a stoppage in one of the middle rounds might make it interesting.

Got a feeling Wilder will knock him out. I hope not because Fury is the best heavyweight by some distance.

Fury looks and sounds composed and confident in yesterday's interview with Gareth A Davies.

I hope your mate's right, no matter how much of a gobsh1te Fury is he pails in to insignificance compared to the horsesh1t that Wilder comes out with, utter bellsmash!!

I think Tyson Fury will go down as one of the great heavyweights when his career comes to an end.

The only person out there who can beat him at the moment is himself.

I agree, and I don’t want to hear about other eras... the blokes 6”9 and 20 stone but moves like a cruiser weight, he’s a bit of a freak of nature.
I didn’t used to like him but away from the adrenaline fuelled interviews he’s a decent bloke that’s made mistakes.

Fury should win, he's got it all, just needs to be careful first couple of rounds, after that his superior skill, power and strength will dominate. I reckon KO round 7.

Woke up every hour checking my alarm, been up since 4:30 and woke the 3 year old up so I’ll be in the bad books later!

5 knockdowns, fantastic, respect to Wilder…
Think Fury was harsh in his interview about Wilders lack of respect at the end, I doubt he has a clue where he is. Every punch either of them landed looked like it was game over, real edge of your seats stuff!
So pleased that WBC belt is staying in Lancashire

Super fight.

Boxer with punch won.

Puncher was doing his bit but ran out of steam.

Not sure Joshua could live with that. Usyk far too small.

Well done Mr Fury.

Great fight .While Fury dominated ( I had him miles ahead , even winning 3 rounds would be generous to Wilder) Fury had him down 3 times ,3rd/10th/11th,Wilder had his moments too, and knocked Fury down twice literally after each other in the 4th, though TF took an intelligent count on 2nd kd.

From the 7th DW looked ragged and exhausted and Fury was hurting him constantly, though was always very dangerous with that huge right. Wilder’s best work was when he drew TF in a brawl. By the final KO DW was totally broken . Fury might not please the sensitive types by he’s edging into greats IMO

What a fight , best I’ve seen in a while , Fury without doubt the best British boxer ever

Wilder’s technique seems to be almost exclusively about loading up the big right ( and one of history’s possibly most powerful punches so not to be taken “ lightly “ ) but the amount of times Fury really hurt DW inc 1 non recorded knockdown where DW went down on his knee was something else . Wilder has the rare ability to still throw huge bombs when both badly hurt and gassing , the sign of a true warrior.

DW really shouldn’t have been able to fight TF a third time without say 2 good fights, such is boxing . AJ vs DW would be v good as would Fury vs AJ . Whether either will happen is anyone’s guess .

That's the trouble with boxing, it's too biased to home fighters. The BT commentary was bias as anything in Fury's favour. He was certainly winning the fight but Wilder was catching him quite often. Described as desperation punches by said commentator.

I would like to see Fury fight one of the fast handed boxers now.
As brave as Dylian Whyte is I don't think his type of boxer will trouble Fury.

Agreed about your "lack of respect at the end" view. I think Fury will reconsider when the adrenaline dissipates too, he's a very fair man I think.

I'm not a Wilder follower at all but he'd just given everything, nearly come up trumps but was taking quite a pasting at the end. That final knock-down must've completely scrambled his mind and he looked worn out/barely conscious on his stool after the fight. Cant be judged on what he said/didnt say then. See what he says in the coming couple of days- if he wheels out excuses again- fair enough to have a go at his sportsmanship.

Great performance by both fighters in the ring. Fury earned some time off with his family now, let everybody else speculate about who he might fight next.

Good point re: bias , though the US commentary was almost preposterous in favour of DW. Wilder was gassed by the 7th and I had him winning only 3 rounds, the 1st which was a feeler , the 4th ( 2 kd’s) and the 5th . While DW’s 2nd half of fight punches were often desperate they were proper bombs and after being really battered in the 10th he rocked Fury hard in the final secs of the round .

It was the same in the Smith Fowler fight. Despite Fowler clearly winning the first few rounds. The commentator had Smith 4-2 up then they put a graphic up of Fowler landing 86 punches to 40.
Andy Lee apologised for the 3rd round calling it wrong.

Not technically the best fight ever but a food slugfest at times...both fighters showed a lot of heart and resilience. I had TF around 5 or 6 up by the time he won. Just a shame there's no other decent contenders in the division
