It would be even more incredible if the rescue party for when they arrive back all dressed and spoke as Klingons or something similar....now that really would confuse the old lad.

I really hope he didn’t have a senior doze at the wrong time because it was only 10 minutes between lift off and touch down.

It's bad news, though, for all those that are travelling with him. We all know that in any expedition involving James t kirk, any companion that we don't already know will get killed off.
