Re: Robbie Brady
Good luck, a fully fit Robbie Brady pre the injury at Leicester would walk into this team.

Re: Robbie Brady
I was talking to a friend of his the other week who said he'd be signing for a top end Championship team. I've got to say I was a bit sceptical at the time but hopefully he's through his injury problems now.

Re: Robbie Brady
A good move for him and Bournemouth.
I wish him all the best, and hope he finds his top form, and loses the injuries.

They had a net profit of around £20m for transfers this summer and had about a net profit of £80m for transfers last summer so they probably are ok for FFP at the moment
[/quote]
That should just about cover Cahills salary then

Re: Robbie Brady
Pleased for him. Now part of a club where he can feel appreciated, yet to lose a league game under Parker and sitting top of the Championship. He will have strong competition from a fairly sizeable squad containing some good wide players. He will now also have a goal in life, for team and country. Lets hope he can avoid future serious injuries

Re: Robbie Brady
Good luck to him. Probably his best Burnley performance was away at Bournemouth.

Re: Robbie Brady
Robbie’s injury record suggests he struggles to reach the fitness levels needed to maintain a premier league place… along with Cahill that is two that have been brought in primarily to make sure they get up. For me that suggests a major rebuild would be needed in the summer if all goes as they hope, rather than developing a team mentality to carry with them into the top league. That is going to be a. Expensive and b. Unsettling if they get up and have to change key personnel.

Re: Robbie Brady
Hindsight is always great.
A lot of fans on here felt he was second choice after Bowen and Snodgrass went elsewhere
I felt Robbie tended to save himself and never really put a shift in for a full game
Fair play though if he does well at Bournemouth.

Re: Robbie Brady
He looked more than OK before his serious injury, but afterwards I felt he was affected mentally as well as physically and totally lost his confidence, commitment and self belief. He became more than just a squad player, he became an expensive passenger and a liability and he desperately needed to get a fresh start elsewhere. I hope he reignites his career and wish him well.
Re: Robbie Brady
He likely wont start games, just a cover while Brooks recovers (hopefully).elwaclaret wrote: ↑Mon Oct 18, 2021 12:58 pmRobbie’s injury record suggests he struggles to reach the fitness levels needed to maintain a premier league place… along with Cahill that is two that have been brought in primarily to make sure they get up. Good move for Robbie, hope he does well for them, and another goal at Ewood would be welcome from him.
