Yonlad Fromtwirral is what I heard? Though I couldn't tell you whether Yonlad is his given name or family name.

Yes, it's Jonathon Swift, became public knowledge last week. Previously worked at Preston, Blackburn, Bolton, Fleetwood and Tranmere.

Moved on for better things or continually sacked ? Doesn't appear to be a blinding cv.

Not very old either - first job after uni in 2009 so around 33-34. I think it is more a case of moving on, that's what people do these days.

He also shoehorned a job at the Football League in there as well.

Lets hope he is a good fit. Personally I did a lot of interviewing before retiring and on the CV was quick to see how often they had moved to different companies. If it was very regular, yes it could have been a way of improving their job, or it could have been because they could not do the job well, and not willing to stick at it. However there is a good case for good and ambitious people being offered promotion internally as a way of not losing them-and that is very powerful to have on your CV when you do then make a move

Knows the area, and therefore his main local audience pretty well, then. I'd see that as a positive.

I'd half expected some rootin tootin Yankee to come over all yee-haw

Have to say, some of the more recent appointments seem a bit strange.

Don’t wish to be negative, and wish this lad the very best in his new career, but doesn’t immediately jump out as a major upgrade on Darren Bentley or someone whose CV suggests is going to take us to the next level in terms of social media presence. Hope I’m proved spectacularly wrong, mind.

Other one that I found odd was the Chief of Staff role whose expertise appeared to be in ticketing/strategy consulting!
