Is Tarks suspended?
I make that five bookings for the season for him now, however one of those was in the League Cup.
Not sure how it works nowadays. I'm sure someone will know if that means a one game ban.

Re: Is Tarks suspended?
At least we know that we've got a top class replacement in Collins.

Unless it was planned it was a ridiculous booking. Kicking the ball away.

It's his fifth in all comps according to your own stats.

His fourth in the Premier League and it needs five for a suspension in the Premier League.fidelcastro wrote: ↑Sat Nov 06, 2021 5:02 pmIt's his fifth in all comps according to your own stats.
Re: Is Tarks suspended?
He seems to be racking up the cards more then usual, this season - the silly ones are particularly frustrating.

Horrendous pricing to London at the moment.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Sat Nov 06, 2021 5:03 pmAfraid not, just couldn't afford the cost of getting there on the train. It's the second away game I've had to miss this season,

Re: Is Tarks suspended?
That's why I was asking the question. I'm sure there was a time when all domestic bookings were accumulative, which meant the player missed the next game, regardless of the competition.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Sat Nov 06, 2021 5:02 pmHis fourth in the Premier League and it needs five for a suspension in the Premier League.
Re: Is Tarks suspended?
With Avanti it is. If you can it's much better going from Leeds these days.

Like the team, put it behind you and look forward to the next match.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Sat Nov 06, 2021 5:16 pmFirst time I've actually made a decision not to go to a game since Millwall in January 1999. I hate it but it's how it has to be.

Re: Is Tarks suspended?
We've always done Manchester to Euston for London games - the last time I booked was for the game at Palace in March 2020 which, of course, I never used. It was £31. Now, you are lucky to get it for £50 even with a rail card.

Re: Is Tarks suspended?
I used to rely on the cheaper advance tickets on the West Coast mainline to get to Burnley games. Are tickets more expensive nowadays because of the new company in charge or as a side effect of the pandemic?ClaretTony wrote: ↑Sat Nov 06, 2021 6:02 pmWe've always done Manchester to Euston for London games - the last time I booked was for the game at Palace in March 2020 which, of course, I never used. Re: Is Tarks suspended?
I assume you'll be going to Newcastle, Tony.
I've booked my match and train tickets. It'll be my first away match since Newcastle 2019-20. Driving to Carlisle and getting the train to Newcastle at £3.90 return! Mind you, it is Northern Rail so it's a lottery as to whether the train will actually turn up.

I think it's just Avanti tbh. I haven't really noticed any price increases on the East Coast line which is run by LNER.JohnDearyMe wrote: ↑Sun Nov 07, 2021 6:12 pmI used to rely on the cheaper advance tickets on the West Coast mainline to get to Burnley games. Re: Is Tarks suspended?
Don't appear to be advanced tickets now from what I can see. I kept an eye on it for Chelsea but nothing doing. I'd paid £31 (Manchester Picadilly to London Euston) for Palace in March 2020, and that's with my old chap's railcard. It was around £50 this weekend. I don't know whether it is Avanti or not but it has been suggested it's cheaper from Leeds although probably not much in it given I'd have to pay to get to Leeds whereas I use the bus for Manchester.JohnDearyMe wrote: ↑Sun Nov 07, 2021 6:12 pmI used to rely on the cheaper advance tickets on the West Coast mainline to get to Burnley games. Whenever I get the Preston train to London for work (peak time, bought at last minute) is usually costs north of £200 for a return. It’s an absolute disgrace

Re: Is Tarks suspended?
Out of interest, I’ve just looked for Manchester to London for Arsenal in January. It’s currently £94.50 or £62.35 with a railcard.claret2018 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 07, 2021 7:47 pmWhenever I get the Preston train to London for work (peak time, bought at last minute) is usually costs north of £200 for a return.
