If this is at the other end we wouldn't hear the end of how magnificent it was

One of those goals where I was expecting VAR to rule it out for offside so didn't get too excited at the time.

Went mental as soon as it was confirmed though.

Ditto, it’s ruined moments like that!

You now look at the linesman, then sit and wait for a few minutes

You'll never see a goal celebration with so much elation like Arfield/Duff or Aguerrrrrro as it seems VAR has removed that.. what a shame

The players looked just as surprised that it wasn't ruled out, after Leicester and Brentford it's hardly surprising.

Wonderful reaction from Rudiger who was the man playing everyone onside and then lost Vydra by not reacting to the ball going into the box. Just looking all round like he was totally disinterested.

Really clever ball in from Westwood. As Tuchel said, Chelsea had switched off momentarily and they were ball watching. The lofted cross totally caught them out. As others have remarked, the finish was so simple In the end that it looked as if it had to be offside

I had advance notice!

My stream was a little behind and the BBC pinged 1-1 to my phone.

I just knew we were going to score!

The Sunday Telegraph described it as "scruffy". I have no idea what the reporter was doing at the time, but it obviously wasn't watching the match.

seen a few descibe it as similar, I've come to the conclusion they smoke crack - it was a top class goal..............one that RIPPED the Champions of Europe apart and made them look like a Sunday League team. I'll re-iterate what I posted initially, if that's Lukaku nodding down to Mount then it's a **** fest

If the ball, had pinged around the penalty area, hit Vydra on the knee, then crossed the line via the goalkeepers backside, then the goal could have been described as scruffy. Perfect cross, cushioned header by JRod and Vydra in the right place at the right time…nothing at all scruffy…or even lucky.

If JRod had headed the ball slightly forward would Vydra have been offside?

No. Vydra was behind JRod when the ball was played, that’s all that matters.

Not a bad goal for a hoofball team to score, and when you take into account the quality of the opposition that just makes it even better.

Is that our best team goal since Hendrick at Everton after 20+ passes and a cool finish? I'd say it probably is, yes we've enjoyed some cracking individual goals over the past few seasons, but as a team we can't have bettered that build up surely.

Talk about fine margins, that ball out to the wing by McNeil I think would have been cut out normally, not sure how he missed it to be honest. Any how I aint complaining.

“ Cruelly on Barkley, who had played so well and received a standing ovation when he went off, that miss proved to be pivotal as Burnley equalised with an 80th-minute goal every bit as scruffy as their performance.

What an absolutely ridiculous remark.

Alan Shearer described as a brilliantly worked goal or words to that effect and his comments carry far more kudos than some washed up sports reporter

I like the commentators reaction as Vydra knocks the ball home.
