Re: Norwich manager
Madhouse really after winning today
Re: Norwich manager
weird, good thing he didn't win earlier then.
Re: Norwich manager
I think Big Sam would only take the job if he thought the players were up to it over the length of the season.
Losing 7-0 to Chelsea and at home to Leeds might suggest he would probably think otherwise.

Re: Norwich manager
I’m sure Norwich would welcome Bruce with open arms. He was extremely popular and successful as a centre half for them.

Re: Norwich manager
That's a surprise. I'm sure they've stated in the past that they model themselves on our blueprint - which doesn't involve sacking the manager when times are difficult
As an ex-player Bruce is a decent shout - and they would be a lot more tolerant with him than Newcastle were

Re: Norwich manager
Funnily enough I actually see Eddie Howe doing a good job Norwich.
They actually have a decent squad just need a bit of guidance

Re: Norwich manager
Seems to me they already have a replacement in place, if he’s been sacked after a win.
Re: Norwich manager
They don't seem to be a team who have any fighters in their side, players who are willing to scrap for every ball. Something you need at the bottom end of the Prem.Newcastleclaret93 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 06, 2021 7:45 pmFunnily enough I actually see Eddie Howe doing a good job Norwich.

Re: Norwich manager
Incredible, they stuck by him through all the defeats then sack him when they win.

Re: Norwich manager
Possibly because they want Chris Wilder and unless they get him now then he’ll take the Boro job…he was at the Riverside today watching the game apparently.

Re: Norwich manager
Possibly not but I think they have got some great technical players. If the new manager can get the best out of Gilmour and Cantwell they will do relatively well. Probably not enough to stay up though.
Re: Norwich manager
I live in Norwich and there’s lots of talk on Wilder. He’d be decent for them.

Re: Norwich manager
According to my 'Boro supporting friend Wilder deal effectively signed and sealed with Warnock in-the-know and being allowed to chalk up his record before leaving by mutual consent - stranger things have happened though

Re: Norwich manager
Wilder built a decent Sheff U side but that all action style takes time and the players to commit to the system. Not sure Narch have that currently.

Re: Norwich manager
Strange timing they've looked decent in their 2 games since the 7-0 mauling at Chelsea, and obviously gained their 1st victory of the season today.
But in football nothing surprises me anymore.

Re: Norwich manager
Norwich fans on the radio saying the wrong person was sacked, they think it should've been the director of football.
Also odd after Farke recently signed a 4yr deal in the summer

Re: Norwich manager
I think he'd be better suited to them than Newcastle which I suspect will become even more of a basket case club.Newcastleclaret93 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 06, 2021 7:45 pmFunnily enough I actually see Eddie Howe doing a good job Norwich.

Re: Norwich manager
Bonkers or an astute move, we will only know at the end of the season.
