Despite winning first game of the season, he’s left Norwich

Blimey and I thought Eddie would take that on, a bit late now.

In all seriousness I think he'd do a much better job

If that’s true I am genuinely shocked. Teams like Brentford and Villa are in free fall so Norwich still have a chance of avoiding the drop even with Farke in charge.

Odd decision.

They’re highly unlikely to survive this season, with or without Farke.

Only signed a 4 year deal in the summer and was still popular with most of the fans. Shocked.

Odd decision.
The really odd decision is that he's lasted this long. Delia and her Board have probably been waiting for the right manager to become available.

Bruce to Narwich? ;)

Similar to warnock given the results a stay of execution would have gone on but go out on a high 2 away results albeit 1 being a draw, both on borrowed time but leaving with head upright on shoulders.

They absolutely 100% definitely maybe have a replacement lined up, makes zero sense otherwise.

Clubs do like to do these things when international breaks arrive.

International break next week so two weeks to get the new man in and to settle. This will all have been planned, the Norwich board would probably have preferred a loss today.

No idea why folk think this is a poor decision, he should have gone a few weeks ago. Evident he can’t hack the Pl. A decent appointment will give them a fighting chance at least

It’s an odd decision because their sporting director gave the interview below just over a week ago after their heavy loss to Chelsea.

With Delia and Stephen on the bored Daniel was bound to get Fry’d eventually. If Ole gets pocketed soon Micky Phelan may be a outside bet.

Quite right, thought he had returned. However he remains a major shareholder and club ambassador

He might be an ambassador, but he's not a major shareholder, Delia and her husband hold so many there are no other major shareholders.

They’ve let go all the back room staff too. Wouldn’t be surprised if they’ve already got someone. If they haven’t, then Dean Smith wouldn’t be a bad option.

Banjo Lampard, Stevie-G and Steady-Eddie; I'm feeling better and better about our chances of surviving another year in the EPL.

Hmm! a bit of a step down from Villa for him, although I can kind of see their thinking, as he knows how to get teams promoted from the Champ, mind you so did Farke, and they dispensed with him.

Probably the best Norwich could do in the circumstances, but I still don't think it'll be enough to save them, as their squad simply lacks the required quality to survive.

I suppose he does look a bit like that kid in the film deliverance.
Perhaps, though it's because he couldn't hit a barn door with a banjo.
Unlike RowZ Gerrard.

The name does have a certain ring to it but I’m not convinced of your explanation regarding the barn door. I mean his scoring record was exceptional so he obviously wasn’t that wayward with his shooting.

Funny how there is always a wee merry-go-round with usually one of several dropping out and the rest exchanging jobs.

I think this is a good appointment by Norwich. Smith (similarly to Dyche) much more pragmatic than Farke and won't be a rigid in his approach so might be able to grind more results out.
