Frightening 45 minutes that, and if we don't tighten up defensively we will be going down. However it's not just the defence our midfield have been poor once again, and despite the 2 goals we're flattered by the score line.

The one hope is Palace aren't much better, and there is goals to be had if we can step it up. But we need to keep the back door shut 2nd half to give us a chance of nicking anything out of this match.

Got to give a lot of credit to Viera. Considering Palace looked a basket case club in the summer with so many players out of contract he's working wonders at the moment and despite gifting us a couple of goals they've torn us apart and could already be out of sight

Still plenty left in this game for us and fancy us scoring again

We need three new players in midfield, Westwood, Brownhill and sadly now JBG not good enough. They have no idea how to protect the back four and their ball retention is not even Championship level. Palace have torn us apart and unfortunately our under pressure defence can't handle them.

Midfield too high leaving defence exposed. We’ve been ok going forward when we’ve had it.

Wonder if conditions are playing a part as both teams have been relatively awful.

Bang on. Palace haven't been anything special, I'd usually say we've just not been at the races but these sort of performances are becoming too frequent. We can't pass to a man 5 yards away in midfield and it's looked like that for several months! Can't help but notice Taylor's getting pulled inside towards the centre halves a lot covering.

Absolutely - they are a completely different side, not just players but their style too.

We just can’t cope with Gallagher and I’m not sure what the fix is.

One thing I’m sure of is Cornet isn’t a striker and should be on the wing with Vydra up top.

This isn't a reflection of how good Palace are, we've scored 2 against them despite a howling 45 minutes.

This is one of the worst 45 mins I've seen from a Dyche team, but i think we could still get back in it if we sort ourselves out.
