Re: Would they come for Dyche
I don’t think they would, they’ll prefer someone more proven with a higher profile.

I really don't think so. Dyche I mean, Zidane sounds much more Man Utd.

I don't think I'm exaggerating by saying there would be riots outside OT if they appointed Dyche.

Re: Would they come for Dyche
United have suffered badly from a succession of high profile managers who have well and truly f ****d things up.
If I were in a position of influence at the club I would get rid of Pogba and Ronaldo and Maguire restore Rashford to the team and buy Tarky. Oh and stick with Solskjaer .

Zidane has already said that he's not available until the end of the season. I'm expecting an interim manager until then.

I wouldn't put it past them. Neither would I put it past them offering Ronaldo the role. (They are stupid enough.)
Bet they wish they had given Moyes more time.

How bizarre
Re: Would they come for Dyche
They want a manager big enough and respected enough to make Ronaldo, Pogba, and Fernandes all accept that they are not the most important person at the club. I don't think that man exists!

I’ve heard Dyche is on his way to Man U and he’s going to take Connor Roberts with him to play as the holding midfielder.

Re: Would they come for Dyche
They're looking to win trophies at the highest level, on what planet would Dyche fit that bill? I'm sure Man United fans would be delighted to watch their side lose to non league sides and League Two sides in the cup competitions.Vegas Claret wrote: ↑Sat Nov 20, 2021 8:13 pmif they had any sense they would, but they don't so...........

maybe they should get one of those fancy Portuguese managers KRBFC...............pretty sure the most successful one of those in football history already failed there

Doesn’t that just exasperate KRs point. If one of the best managers ever wasn’t successful at United then I’m not sure Dyche is the best option haha.Vegas Claret wrote: ↑Sun Nov 21, 2021 6:37 ammaybe they should get one of those fancy Portuguese managers KRBFC...............pretty sure the most successful one of those in football history already failed there
This board is great sometimes. In the last three weeks I’ve seen posts That Brownhill is better than Pogba. Tarks is better than Varane and now Dyche should be considered for United.
You would think Burnley are pushing for too 4 places given all that.
Re: Would they come for Dyche
Darren Ferguson perfect fit!
Re: Would they come for Dyche
Zidane apparently doesn't speak English. SD has a n advantage there, but hes not caled Juan Dycheo!!! He is also fairly calm. Witness the disgraceful performance of Arteta and Klopp (yes him again) yesterday. These guys ought to set an example. It was pathetic. Imagine Klopp's reaction had his centre forward been clearly impeded on a charge for goal and not even a foul was given!!!

Re: Would they come for Dyche
Rather like the England job, they don't need a coach, they need someone to organise them into a team, and despite Dyches points return, he is one of the best organisers of a group of players in the business. To keep us in the Premier League as long as he has proves it.
There's no way he would ever be considered, simply because he doesn't fit the high profile that lots of money, but lack of football knowledge demands, but I'm sure he could have done a great job there.

Re: Would they come for Dyche
Dyche has as much chance of managing Brazil. We love him but United fans would have a meltdown at the idea. He’s English. He puts defence first. He’s never worked with prima donna players. And he’s honest. These are not qualities wanted by United.

They'll go for another big name who will fail because their star players aren't interested in playing.
Ironically, Dyche would probably sort them out. Lets hope they aren't clever enough to work this out.

What in Dyches short career has shown that he can manage at that level and deal with the pressures that come with it?tarkys_ears wrote: ↑Sun Nov 21, 2021 10:37 amThey'll go for another big name who will fail because their star players aren't interested in playing.

Dyche is in the easiest job in the prem, it does not matter how poor results get, how poor the football gets he will not be sacked.

That doesn’t make it the easiest job in the PL, far from it. The most secure maybe, but definitely not the easiest.Newcastleclaret93 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 21, 2021 10:42 amWhat in Dyches short career has shown that he can manage at that level and deal with the pressures that come with it?

Re: Would they come for Dyche
Of course it does, if there are no repercussions for performance than it is the easiest role in the prem.
Look at every other manager around us, they have all been sacked.
Re: Would they come for Dyche
Why would there be repercussions when he's overachieved here against any sensible person's expectations? It's surprising that you think the ease in this context is so one dimensional and should simply be measured against the likelihood of being sacked, rather than other factors such as the resources a manager has at his disposal.Newcastleclaret93 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 21, 2021 10:45 amOf course it does, if there are no repercussions for performance than it is the easiest role in the prem.

Re: Would they come for Dyche
Hi job is not easier than those with the same objective and more money to spend. Simple as that. The fact that some managers are failing at their objective doesn’t mean their job is harder, it just means they’re not as good at it.Newcastleclaret93 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 21, 2021 10:45 amOf course it does, if there are no repercussions for performance than it is the easiest role in the prem.

Easier job in the PL?
There are no easy jobs, they've all got their challenges that differ from club to club.
Dyche has done a great job, all things considered, but to say he's got it easy here is just laughable
