Very nicely done, but I can’t help feeling it’s a little crass to let Mrs Clause find out this way.

Words fail me...why must there be the need to hijack everything of the past and alter it to suit the LGTBQ community. I am all for progression and being accepting of people...but history doesnt need to be changed, you just being controversial for the sake of it, create your own future

Is it sexualised when he kisses Mrs Claus?
Loads of homophobes will hate this advert and barely any of them will be willing to admit why. And this awful bigotry is why the mods on this forum don’t want anyone to discuss anything other than football. It’s quite a sad state of affairs but here we are

Ridiculous...
About the least sexualised person ever to exist, given he is a magical non-fictional character who is also a fat old man dressed in red, is now gay. Brilliant.

Quite a clever and, possibly, deliberately controversial, way to deliver the important message highlighted at the end. Daft but effective.

Re: What do you feel to this Norwegian ad?
I've never had any issue with gays, like the rest of us some are funny, some are boring, some are kind and some are nasty.
I don't understand, from the gay people I know, this need to crave acceptance. They accept themselves the way they are, as do I, everybody's happy.
Then you get those who aren't gay, coming up with this crap in order to highlight some ill conceived injustice on behalf of gays/equal rights etc.
He may be fictional, but I find it offensive. Not the gay community, but those liberals determined to show that they support the gay community, won't be satisfied until being homosexual is compulsory.
If its only intention was to gain publicity, it worked, but if you need to go that far for attention, you are sad.

Compulsory homosexuality?
Ok then....
Maybe it's just a case of showing it's fine to be gay in all walks of life.

It's not an advert saying it's okay to be gay, it's an advert saying it's fine to cheat on your wife.

Re: What do you feel to this Norwegian ad?
What a preposterous analogy . History is littered with homosexuals from Alexander the Great onwards ,Hadrian was an absolute screamer with his coterie of young male lovers . However the fairy tale of Santa with his elves and reindeers etc is simply a story for young children and really doesn’t need to be sexualised .GodIsADeeJay81 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 24, 2021 10:59 pmKing James of Bible fame was gay, so why not Santa?

The story of father Christmas is a religious one that's eventually been monetised, as most religious festivals have been, by the retail industry.AlargeClaret wrote: ↑Thu Nov 25, 2021 10:10 amWhat a preposterous analogy . The issue is many people don't want their children to think being gay is perfectly fine and normal.
If that advert was shown in the UK, do we think it would be on before the watershed?

Then please explain to me why it is necessary to portray Santa as gay. What is the point/reason/justification.
I believe many gay people will find it strange, just as many black people don't agree with taking the knee.
Or is it that only gay or black people are allowed an opinion on these things.
This is common when liberals set the agenda, the only opinions that matter are the ones that see things from their myopic pov. Everyone else can be labelled racist or homophobic.

Not these days
Whatever happens, the days of them being light years ahead of us have long gone
Worst case scenario is that we are division or more apart, and both struggling with the reality of modern football with the fanbase in smallish northern towns
