No updates tonight with it being shown on YouTube

Team: Sam Waller, Ethen Vaughan, Jake Rooney, Jacob Bedeau, Bobby Thomas, Finlay Armstrong, Max Thompson, Mark Helm, Ben Woods, Dara Costelloe, Joe McGlynn. Subs: Harry Allen, Harry Williams, Calen Gallagher-Allison, Owen Dodgson.

Reminder that it’s on YouTube.

No Mellon I see. Might he be around the squad on Sunday, with Barnes definitely out, and Rodriguez and Vydra slight concerns ?

That looks a bit 5-3-2 or even 5-4-1.
There must be loads of injuries.
I reckon they are keeping Mellon back for the U18 cup match

More likely he's injured or they want him to play in the U18 PL Cup game tomorrow IMO.

Agree.

Good to see Max Thompson back in, he has an eye for goal.

Looks like a back 3 with Bedeau, Thomas and Rooney. Armstrong and Vaughan at wing back and a front 3 of Thompson, McGlynn and Costelloe.

Very harsh sending off for a high boot. (Thompson).

Another example of the referee being influenced by the extent of the injury rather than the high tackle itself, I think.

Looked a ridiculous decision to red card but it was some distance away.

Three Burnley players went to ref at half time whistle. Key decisions on far side to us but I think we’ve done well given everything.

Never a sending off. Was a pen unfortunately but a soft one. Disappointing that the red has ruined the game.

They really shouldn't be doing that, it can only make thing worse...

Difficult to see if the decisions were poor from where I’m sat.

I like the look of Helm in midfield. Lets hope he gets on the ball more 2nd half.

Stoke not even trying to score just playing it around content to see it out.

I just wonder: how is this in terms of "development football" for either team.
This was absolutely shocking in every aspect.

Experience in playing in tough conditions with a man down and a confusing man with a whistle.
Character building. ;)

Thought we did ok with ten for so long. I can confirm the conditions were really poor with the strong wind and I can also confirm I’m bloody cold.

Was never going to be a classic in those conditions and 10v11 didn’t help at all.

I spoke to someone who hadn't seen it. When the referee waved his card I couldn't make out the colour but then saw Thompson walk off. Hard enough in those horrendous conditions with eleven players let alone ten. We were only playing with one up front from the kick off though.
