What do you want from Father Christmas?
I do hope you have all been good boys and girls this year.
Assuming you've made it onto the 'good list', is there anything you'd like to ask Father Christmas for Christmas?
I really can't think of anything much I'd like right now...

Re: What do you want from Father Christmas?
Pop into your local Game and ask if they have any in stock. My brother did this and was told that they get regular small deliveries in but don’t advertise the fact or display on the shop floor. He couldn’t believe it when he walked out with one.GodIsADeeJay81 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 30, 2021 11:25 pmA gaming laptop, or a PS5....

Re: What do you want from Father Christmas?
My local game just told me to follow their Twitter accounts for Reading, Oxford and Didcot.
That's pointless, they never mention stock, I just follow an official PS5 stock UK account.

Re: What do you want from Father Christmas?
My brother got his in Leeds so I guess it will differ by store - and I’d imagine there will be more people asking about stock in the build up to Christmas. But I was surprised to hear that they were apparently getting stock daily and not even putting it on the shelves - presumably to avoid carnage!!GodIsADeeJay81 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 30, 2021 11:55 pmMy local game just told me to follow their Twitter accounts for Reading, Oxford and Didcot.

A nice normal family Christmas. Be able to travel properly in the new year. Gopro handle.
Not worried about the Clarets - they'll come good.

Oh that's cool. Yeah, I want one of those now.
Don't think I've been quite good enough this year though sadly. I think my goodness only stretches to about £50.

Re: What do you want from Father Christmas?
Hope all is as well as can be claretburns. Having known relatives live with Parkinsons I know how difficult it can be.claretburns wrote: ↑Wed Dec 01, 2021 11:36 amAfter a tough year of health problems for my dad, recently diagnosed with Parkinsons, just wishing for all my family and friends to keep healthy and safe.
On the other hand, they have got much better at managing the condition. Although it was very sad news about Ray Kennedy's passing recently he lived for over 35 years after his diagnosis.
All the best to you and your family & wishing you a wonderful Christmas.

Re: What do you want from Father Christmas?
I'm beginning to wonder, with all the stock shortages, about whether this current generation of consoles is worth bothering which. Also, I've yet to see a killer app (game) on either of them. They need a new GTA or Skyrim/Fallout type of game, but this isn't going to happen for ages, and the next gen will be out by then.
