Wolves look the better team but the longer we can keep them out the more I can see us pinching a win in the last 15

Wood, Dwight and JBG seriously need to up their games in the second half. Look very lethargic

Wood unbelievably poor. JBG off it too.
Weirdly I actually think JBG has been one of our best players. He’s at least making stuff happen.

Wood is like a brick wall the ball just bounces off him. Cornet has really struggled tonight as well.

It’s almost like 4/5 of them look rusty

Cornet’s getting bullied at the moment. Not a bad half though and Pope hasn’t had much to do. Could snatch one second half. COYC!!

I’m always wary of writing Wood off at half time because often he’ll play like crap and then put us a goal up- Old Trafford in January 2020 springs to mind. He needs to buck his ideas up, though, and I hope Dwight and Maxwell can pull him for a quick chat in the dressing room before the second half.
Other than that, decent first half I thought. We can win this.

Let’s look at the positives, Taylor and Collins playing well and we aren’t losing.

Come on Burnley

The Wood comments on here are either a wind up or plain ignorance. He's a top striker . Good game so far, possibly not, but the comments on this thread are laughable

Not a bad 45, and crucially we're well in the game despite not playing that well.
Spot on about still being in the game

The problem is how do we improve because they, almost certainly, will

The front two just look lost and as if they have never played together

We have tried to be progressive, when we’ve had the ball. The final pass is yet again letting us down.

Not sure why Wood is attracting the critics. He was far better than Cornet in the opening 45 mins.

Lowton was the more fortunate one. Clear elbow to the head and then grabbed at the Wolves player as they landed. Yellow for both was about right.

A bit worried about how easy it was for them to bypass our midfield in the first 30 mins , but in the last 15 we played a lot better. If McNeil and Taylor can keep getting a few crosses in , there's something in this for us .

We need to get him (and wood) much more involved. They’ve only had balls into feet with their backs to goal so far. Get cornet in behind on the counter and he’s a different animal.

Fortunate to get to half time 0-0, hopefully we can nick a late winner and all 3 points, desperately need a win.

Cornet is getting out muscled and probably needs to be playing more forward.

Both Wood and Cornet have been poor. Retaining the ball really poorly. Surely it’s worth trying Dwight in the 10 and cornet left. I feel Cornet’s pace and movement would be better served in behind their right wing back where the space is.

He’s been dreadful Rombald. Loose passes, offside, missing headers, lax pressing, played a header to Cornet about 10 yards away from him.

He’s a good striker with a good record vs Wolves but he has had a terrible half.
