Getting to 6000 points
Getting to 6000 points
I have been showing 5761 loyalty points in the Teamcard.
I have been attending away matches but this has not increased.
However, on the buy your ticket area, it shows only 5000 points!
All thoughts welcome.

Re: Getting to 6000 points
You've evidently incurred some disloyalty points along the way too.
If you care to make a full confession here perhaps there's a chance the points panel will look on your indiscretions kindly.

Re: Getting to 6000 points
Ian, have you actually tried to buy the tickets you want on line?

Re: Getting to 6000 points
My thoughts are it's run by BFC.
My numbers are also different. Dunno if I have the energy required to attempt to get it sorted tbh...

Re: Getting to 6000 points
I had a similar issue, I mentioned it in the ticket office and they told me I had to sort it by email so I gave up. Not like it's hard to get away tickets these days anyway.

Do you buy things from the club shop and use your season ticket to accumulate points? I only ask as a friend posed a similiar question last season and it worked out that his loyalty points on his Team Card were through buying things from the club shop and his ticket loyalty points were a different total.

Re: Getting to 6000 points
TeamCard points and loyalty points are not the same thing.
Your TeamCard points won't increase with ticket purchases, only purchases in the club shop. Likewise only loyalty points increase with ticket purchases.
I've over 12,000 loyalty points but just 370 TeamCard points.
Re: Getting to 6000 points
That's the bit I don't get Tony!
I have almost 6000 points on the team card and all my ticket purchases are shown and yet when I try to buy a ticket they say 5000.
Why would I have 5961 loyalty rewards points?

Re: Getting to 6000 points
TeamCard points are for retail. You don’t get TeamCard points for tickets.
Re: Getting to 6000 points
Did you claim the refund back for the missed games through lockdown? I think they then became club shop credit and placed on team cards.

Tony - on the app on my phone, I click TeamCard.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Wed Dec 08, 2021 1:07 amTeamCard points are for retail. You don’t get TeamCard points for tickets.
Up comes IanMczl, my email, then Pending Loyalty Points 0, Loyalty Rewards Balance 5961
That is a fixed banner.
Then underneath, it shows, Next game Bfc v WHU.
Ladt Game attended Bfc v CP.
That goes back to 2016.
Doesn't show my socks or shirt purchase!
Confused.

Whatever it shows, TeamCard points you get on spend at the club shop, loyalty points are awarded for ticket purchases.IanMcL wrote: ↑Fri Dec 10, 2021 12:13 pmTony - on the app on my phone, I click TeamCard.

I have virtually no purchases and yet have 5971 'Loyalty Reward Points' and yet when I try and purchase tickets, it shows 5000 points. How many points are socks worth!!!
Not going to get this sorted, in any way, methinks.
Appreciate all who contributed.

Re: Getting to 6000 points
If you had a season ticket in 2019/20 then 4/19ths of it were added as TeamCard points which you could claim back as money, keep as TeamCard points or donate to the youth department. You may have points there.
But, other than that, TeamCard points are awarded for shop sales and you can't use those points for anything other than future club shop purchases.
Using my example again, I currently have 370 TeamCard points. I'll use them to get my programme this Sunday which will leave me with 20 TeamCard points. I also have in excess of 12,000 loyalty points but they are used only for establishing at what point I can purchase away tickets.
Re: Getting to 6000 points
So are you saying that when you click on Teamcard on the app, it shows exactly as mine i.e. name email etc but 370 Loyalty Reward Points?
If that is the case, my 5961 becomes very strange!
Despite the early holes, they must be very good socks!

Re: Getting to 6000 points
I can no longer get the TeamCard App but I can login to the TeamCard website and it shows I have 370 points which is worth £3.70. If you have 5,961 points then you have £59.61 to spend in the club shop. Did you not claim the refund from the 2019/20 season tickets? That would explain that.
Loyalty points are completely different and you need to login to the ticketing site to find out how many you have. I have over 12,000 but they have no monetary value whatsoever but place me in a category for buying away tickets. Those points are obtained by buying tickets (350 per season ticket and 10 per match ticket).
Re: Getting to 6000 points
I have not claimed anything. Perhaps they paid me anyway! I pay by DD and as far as I know, that stopped for this season, owing to having a season in hand.
Other than that, I will just have to accept that I have 5000 points for ticket times and 5961 for spends!
