Re: From the Wednesday game v Watford onwards
That's very organised and efficient...
Re: From the Wednesday game v Watford onwards
But Burnley FC don't do organised and efficient according to a lot on here
Will the attendees of matches be the same and be organised and efficient in having the relevant passes etc ... that is the question ... and that is where the confusion will start and clog the system up
Re: From the Wednesday game v Watford onwards
Gaining admission to the ground in time for kick off will determine how organized ( or not )
Re: From the Wednesday game v Watford onwards
Just a box ticking exercise. I don't see any link to you showing your covid pass at the turnstiles at all?

Not all people attending have claret numbers. I've bought a ticket for a friend for the Everton game. He has not got a number as he's not a burnley fan

It took a minute or two to complete, no bother really.
Re: From the Wednesday game v Watford onwards
I wonder if Villa will do the same, nothing on their site yet that I can see.

I think the purpose of the form/declaration is so that should you be refused entry then you can’t complain you were unaware of requirements.
I imagine that 1 in 10 or 1 in 20 fans will be required to show covid- passport whilst queuing at the turnstiles

Re: From the Wednesday game v Watford onwards
I thought you had to have a clarets number to buy a ticket? Mainly to stop away fans getting in the home end and also so any trouble they could identify the individual etc (not that I mind you getting yer Mate a ticket to sit on his hands for 90 minutes!Backofthenet wrote: ↑Thu Dec 09, 2021 5:29 pmNot all people attending have claret numbers. He's visiting for Xmas, so like I've done many times I've bought him a ticket, to come with us on boxing day

“Everyone is rowing back” is a funny way of saying you were wrong

Re: From the Wednesday game v Watford onwards
I suggest that the latest club statement stating it will now be spot checks, is rowing back.daveisaclaret wrote: ↑Fri Dec 10, 2021 11:25 am“Everyone is rowing back” is a funny way of saying you were wrong
My assessment of the first statement can be still debated, yes I could have been wrong on its intent, but now we will never know.
