Sissoko the perfect player for us, £3m fee. big strong energetic and drives with the ball forward
You’re having a laugh
His legs have gone.He spends the entire 90 minutes waving at his teammates to do this and that
He does the square root of fa.That’s based on watching him a few times this season, not just tonight

Result went for us...Are we capable of doing the business ourself ?
Doesn’t matter. If every other team loses every game from now until the end of the season we’ll be fine.

Ranieri sacked in the morning?
Being Watford I wouldn't rule that out.

Big result for us that keeps Watford in sight, and means we could potentially climb out of the relegation zone on Sunday.

Next Wednesday is now huge, win and we might be level on points with Watford or better, but still with 2 games in hand.

Impossible, best you get is 50%, then you have to hope the right team (for us) wins every time.

That penalty was definitely a penalty but it was also definitely a dive. Striker deliberately stood on the defenders outstretched leg to ensure there's contact then throws himself to the ground. The game is gone.

Wish we had a few players that could do that

I don't, though i'm sure our chaps aren't completely innocent.

I'm not sure I can take much more of a season where other teams' results seem to have become more important than our own.

Claudio has never seemed the kind of guy who can shut up shop. That’s all three of our main rivals who are ropey at the back, both in tactics and personnel.

I had Brentford to drop but they have a good chance now.

Not quite clutching at straws but had Watford won tonight
then phew....
However well we might do over the next few games then we'll still probably
need at least one team above us to do worse than us.
And for Newcastle and Norwich not to do better.

Sorry yes your correct 1 game in hand, but that's still a much better scenario than looked likely when they led Brentford.

Had a good game tonight, very good player for our level, the Spurs fans really liked him in the end.

To be fair I have several Spurs fans for friends, most are sensible and considered…. They thought to a man Burnley signing Lennon was a master stroke by SD when we first signed him.

They also should of retaken the penalty because there was one Brentford and at least one Watford player in the box before the ball was even struck what are these officials in this multi billion pound sport doing

People suggesting Sissoko is crap and wouldn't do a job for us :D :D better than anyone we've got across midfield!! Reminiscent of Lingard not being good enough. Jokers.

The Watford player encroaching is irrelevant. Not sure about the Brentford player but I thought penalties were only retaken for encroachment if said encroachment affected the outcome.

Brentford player was miles in. If there's a deflection and he gains an advantage from that I expect his subsequent goal would be ruled out. Not sure the exact rule when they score but if its illegal not sure why it should result in being retaken. If it's an infringement the ball should be turned back over to the defending team. Attacking team shouldn't get a second bite if they've broken the rules.
