Re: Diaz
20mil could get them some serious talent to push for promotion. On the other hand why would you sell a player who has scored almost half your goals?

More likely to be used as a repayment to the Venkys.Milltown1882 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 11, 2021 8:49 am20mil could get them some serious talent to push for promotion. On the other hand why would you sell a player who has scored almost half your goals?

Re: Diaz
Why don’t we sign him. A double whammy for them.

Re: Diaz
Cos his career has been a success for half a season in the Championship. I hope he proves as successful as Armstrong has with Saints.

We used to sell our best player every January, Robbie Blake, Ade Akinbiyi, Richard Chaplow, Andy Gray, anyone else?Milltown1882 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 11, 2021 8:49 am20mil could get them some serious talent to push for promotion. Re: Diaz
20m for a player OOC in 6 months, seems very over the top imo.
He looks to have found his goalscoring boots just this season, in what usually always us a free scoring Rovers side.
Looks a bit if a gamble for that sort of money when they can get him for free in 6 months, uts not like Brighton are desperate and in trouble if going down.
Blackburn could be very dangerous with 20m in that league were money is extreamely tight!

Re: Diaz
The club will be exercising their right to a 12 month extension supposedly. So he’s got 18 months left effectively

Re: Diaz
£20m is a lot for a one season wonder, though he is only 22.

Re: Diaz
I hope you're right, FC but I really don't think the Venkys will be too concerned about the odd
20 million quid.

I'm hoping that should Rovers get up, that will be Venkys end-game; take the money and bolt.ElectroClaret wrote: ↑Sat Dec 11, 2021 12:25 pmI hope you're right, FC but I really don't think the Venkys will be too concerned about the odd

Re: Diaz
I know a few people who placed bets at 1000/1 to score 20 goals this season. They all put £10 on it. Most of them have already cashed out and taken £5,000 each but some of them haven't and he's on to 17 goals already!
