Re: Burnley vs West Ham
I thought those big decisions always go against us? Had that been at the other end you'd have been moaning on here it was a penalty and had it been for West Ham the ref would have def given it.

Looked like Benhrama was diving before Cork even got to him.
Re: Burnley vs West Ham
Wood and jay feeding on scraps , need one of them to drop off and make themselves available
Re: Burnley vs West Ham
Another difficult watch
Re: Burnley vs West Ham
What a stupid attempt at a tackle from Mee

Benrahama's a real diving git
Re: Burnley vs West Ham
Poor viewing again - getting bored of it
Re: Burnley vs West Ham
We are so bloody boring to watch it’s painful.
Re: Burnley vs West Ham
God we are dreadful, we can't even keep the ball for a spell and build an attack. Just welly it anywhere and hope for a lucky bounce of the ball.

Re: Burnley vs West Ham
Decent start before West Ham got on top but very similar to Wolves game with a 0-0 draw looking a good bet and every chance we could nick it with a goal.
Id take 0-0 then a win against Watford to keep us well in the mix

Re: Burnley vs West Ham
Absolutely clueless in attack, but a hell of a lot of or problems stem from centre midfield and our inability to pass and break forward with pace in support of the front two

Re: Burnley vs West Ham
Another snooze fest. Awful awful viewing. Wingers who don’t create, strikers who are non existent. Also we got very lucky with that pen decision because I thought that was a pen. At the other end I’d have been livid had that not been given.

Don’t look like winning a game at the minute, playing for a point every week

Happy with the score so far , just need a bit of luck in the box and can hang on for a 1-0 win

Re: Burnley vs West Ham
Kept West Ham pretty much quiet, if we get one off a backside second half this was a great first half against an inform team. Build on that first half Burnley

Re: Burnley vs West Ham
Midfield simply not Premiership standard. Too slow, too many misplaced passes, a lack of ideas in testing the West Ham defence.
Another game of scraping around, killing the game and hoping for a 0-0
With Cornet out only slim hope of getting the ball into their area is Vydra.

Re: Burnley vs West Ham
Just for balance - look at the Maddison that pen given for Leicester today. Pathetic.

Re: Burnley vs West Ham
Don't know what has happened to Dwight doesn't seem a threat anymore, one thing second half I can see west ham upping there game unfortunately we can't
Re: Burnley vs West Ham
That's as good as it gets? bore everyone to death and pray we get lucky to score a goal?

JBG needs to retire
Re: Burnley vs West Ham
Anybody understand what system we are playing other than pass to west ham as often as possible. We look an old team with no pace. 0-0 is the best possible ht score we could get with that performance

What's happened too him is it the way he has been told to play, if so he might as well move on does us no good at allburnleymik wrote: ↑Sun Dec 12, 2021 2:56 pmI miss the days when Dwight ran at a defence and whipped in those sublime crosses...
Re: Burnley vs West Ham
Would have been a very soft pen, Dawson wasn't in playing distance of the ball, nor making any attempt at all to play it. Correct decision.

Re: Burnley vs West Ham
Then the midfield need to push up, not the forwards drop back. Our problem is our negativity. Safety first will cost us, because as soon as we go a goal down it's game over. If Jack was the answer to our midfield woes, we might as well prepare for the Championship now.
Last season we were the same until the Villa game, when we finally threw caution to the wind and went for it, got bodies in the box, and balls into the box. It worked. This season it might not, but at least we won't be going down with a whimper.

I suppose you were expecting us to pass them off the park a la Barcelona.
I think maybe you are 13. West Ham have beaten all the top teams this year.
What do you think your doing, putting stuff in perspective on a match day thread.

Well played Taylor but why wasn’t their player booked?
