Not in Blackburn, the first two letters are correct though.

Rumours Chris Silversood & Joe Root have contacted Rafa Benítez, on how to get games called off.

Top 3 batsmen out for a combined total of 12 runs, including a first ball duck for Malan. Undone all the good work from the bowlers in the first couple of overs. Then compound things by sending in a night watchman who did exactly that. Watched a straight delivery hit his off stump without offering a shot. If they get Root out early tomorrow there is a real chance the Aussies won't need to bat again....

23-10-33-4. The batsmen should hang their heads in shame.

I took particular notice last night how the aussies were batting, although they didn't achieve a big lead, but may be big enough to avoid batting again should Joe root go early tmrw, but they were simply lifting the bat above anything that was a half decent ball that they could risk a dab to the slips, and hitting the bad ball. On the other hand we just follow the ball and continue to get out, by playing defensive, consequently giving our wickets away cheaply. We need to get after them and try playing some attack minded shots, it's just extremely naive for so called top order professional batsmen, just infuriating how cheaply the top order are just falling over.

I see our bowlers are bowling the wrong length again.....
Jimmy showed exactly how to bowl on this surface, shame the rest of the attack couldn't support him, and yet again England fight back into the match, and then it all goes to pot in the final session thanks to the top order falling over again.

Heaven knows how we'll replace Jimmy when he finally retires, the only surprise was he didn't get another 5 wicket haul.

As for the match this could all be over by lunch on day 3 unless England's 2 senior batsman in Root & Stokes can fashion a decent partnership.

Typical that England knock Labuschagne, Smith and Warner over cheaply, and Harris who's barely scored a run in the series finally comes to the party, his knock plus the Aussie tail wagging could well be the decisive factor in this test.

England are at least making a genuine fist of this match, and today has shown that Australia when put under pressure are fallible, sadly it's probably all too little too late to make a difference.

Was it on here that I read that Jimmy can only do it with the Duke ball in England?

Anyway, they need to be brought home sharpish, they're embarrassing the nation.

Lots of different stats coming out about Jimmy on twitter.

Jimmy being the best bowler in away tests over the last 7 years stands out.

I sincerely hope Anderson and the rest of the bowlers are giving the batsman plenty of stick in the dressing room after that shocking last hour, they and Jimmy in particular had just about hauled England back into the contest, and then blow me down England's top order fall like dominoes for the umpteenth time this year.

Anyone still have any faith we can win this match, we do have Root and Stokes our 2 most experienced guys at the crease, and conditions look good for batting, so if we can some how bat until around tea, and perhaps leave Australia needing 150 or so with our bowling attack we've still got a slim chance,

Need this pair to at least put us ahead first though, then we can maybe finally see how Australia cope with a real pressure situation, something they haven't had to contend with yet in this series.

Drat Stokes out, 46-5 still 36 adrift, down to Bairstow and the rest to step up now.

Nonsense effort there from Stokes. Commentator suggesting he played on when he was playing the wrong line.

Staring at an innings defeat and ashes series over, can't believe the gulf of difference between these two sides, also in terms of mentality as much as anything, we just don't believe.

Well I’m not confident but I reckon we can get another 33 to avoid an innings defeat.

30 in the context of this game would be a decent score, England just need to at least try and give Jimmy and CO something to defend, anything over 3 figures and you just never know as history has shown, but we need to give ourselves a shout at winning.

I don’t think there is much chance of setting any sort of target. We’d need to get at least another 150.

No it'll be tough now, and those 84 runs for their last 3 wickets are looking more important as the match progresses.

Frustrating because this has been the 1st time we've at least been in the contest in any meaningful manner, and I'm still not convinced this Aussie team are that great under pressure, as India showed last winter down under.

Bairstow gone despite reviewing.

Umpires call.

So this could yet be an innings defeat.

22 more just to make Australia bat again.

Buttler the last recognised batsman I'm afraid.
