Ditto for me, I thought she was stunningly beautiful when I was 6 and nothing has happened over the intervening 52 years to make me doubt my judgement ! An embodiment of the phrase, " English Rose .... RIP, lovely lady !

Sad news.
'Chitty' is one of the 1st films I remember watching in a cinema as a kid and I still enjoy watching it now and again when it comes on TV.
