Ronaldo
Thinking about the match at Old Trafford and how lucky we Burnley fans are to be playing a side with the great Ronaldo in it.
I think it’s something for everyone of us to always remember and can’t wait to see how Dyche deals with him

Re: Ronaldo
Talk in this mornings papers that he’s fed up at ManU already and was on to Gerard Pique to mention him to Xavi. I hope he’s as poor tomorrow as he was at Newcastle.

Re: Ronaldo
best player in the world. I wont see him, but wish I could.
Re: Ronaldo
As much as I'd like to see Nick Pope come away from a game against him with a clean sheet, I wouldn't be offended if he scored but we ended up with a 1-2 win. Would make a great Ceefax moment.

Re: Ronaldo
Since he was an urchin in Madeira he must have been waiting to fulfil his long held dream that one day he would be lucky enough to be on the same pitch as the Mighty Clarets and soon he will get to visit the Turf as well. What a Christmas for him.

Not really bothered. Now if it was Messi on the other hand, that would be special.

There was a post made on this thread by another forum user which has unfortunately disappeared, probably due to a technical glitch, I'm sure, but just in case it was deleted by mistake, here is a repost of the link provided in the post relating to the topic.

I hope that linking news articles relating to a footballers doesn't break football forum rules.

Now tell your son, daughter, niece, nephew or grandchild that this man is a role model; a model human to whose behaviour they ought to aspire.

Re: Ronaldo
Marcus Rashford is the role model who kids should look up to.A rare footballer who actually cares about those worse off.
I can't believe he's getting slagged off for his recent games and accused of letting his charitable works affect his game.

Great that we’ll play against the “joint” greatest player of all time. When he comes to the turf it will be incredible.

Re: Ronaldo
A clattering early fair challenge should quieten the non-team player.
Better still if it is chucking it down.
Ref and VAR is what I worry about more.
If SD needs a tactic...
Annoy Ronaldo.
Plus aim to get as many corners as possible - shoot from anywhere to get one. aim at their players shins.
MU - unless comfortably ahead - are bang average. Their defense totally un-organised.
Our midfield needs to snap away so they can't do their slow push up the pitch.
All said,
Clatter Ronaldo minute 3 would be a good start.
Fairly ofcourse.
... Then Hernandez

Re: Ronaldo
Do you mean Fernandes?
If so any challenge on him would be unfair and likely led to a sending off
He will be sat in the stands as suspended for this game

Re: Ronaldo
Be funny if he didn’t play
There is a chance we could see someone in the away end with a sign made up asking for his shirt

If Rangnick has any sense he’ll drop Ronaldo. Let’s hope he plays.

Not in same league as Ronaldo - literally as well as figuratively.

Ronaldo was all at sea against Newcastle. Did not like the thought that someone might kick him, so just lost himself or flicked balls on immediately, without accuracy.
Westwood should breathe on him!

Ronaldo doesn't unduly worry me tonight, Cavani on the other hand could be a handful for Mee and Tarks.

Ronny seems almost embarrassed to be playing with such a mish mash of disorganised unmotivated talent . The service he’s getting is appalling tbf

Re: Ronaldo
His body language suggests he is regretting his return despite the huge wages
I feel he will be off on his travels before long
Maybe in the coming window

Re: Ronaldo
With the amount of times he loses possession i cant see many of the top teams wanting him.
Re: Ronaldo
I posted last night that he is morphing into Dale Winton.
