FA Cup - who's going on?
Sorry if it has already been asked but - who is going to give them another chance at home, in the Cup, against a lower league team?
I'll be there .
I'll be there .

Re: FA Cup - who's going on?
Not joking, we are probably taking the dog up pendle, can I park outside your house and visa versa?
Couldn't think of anything worse than watching us at the minute, when they're potentially wanting £20for an early kick off game v Huddersfield in the freezing cold, I can't sit in my usual seat and we tend to be a bit CBA in the cup.
Absolutely top drawer and well done to every single fan that goes on Saturday, you deserve a medal!

Re: FA Cup - who's going on?
It’s not £20 and the CBA has seen us get through to the 4th round in five of the last six seasons.MACCA wrote: ↑Tue Jan 04, 2022 5:51 pmNot joking, we are probably taking the dog up pendle, can I park outside your house and visa versa?

I’ll say 5k max with 1k from Hudds.
Re: FA Cup - who's going on?
I’m taking my daughter on for her second game this season. £20 for two of us in the Bob Lord.

Not for me this one. Totally deflated still after Sunday’s non performance. Don’t usually mind the cup games and usually go to them. However I’ll be doing something with my girls up to and including lunchtime and then probably pop over the hill in the afternoon to watch Colne instead.

Honestly life’s too short to waste your time with this fixture. Do something worthwhile instead.

I’ll be there; the journey continues.
Re: FA Cup - who's going on?
Ahh I thought someone mentioned it was £20 if decided on the day when they asked me.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Tue Jan 04, 2022 5:56 pmIt’s not £20 and the CBA has seen us get through to the 4th round in five of the last six seasons.

I didn't want to commit other week, and the early kick off and other bits means I probably wouldn't decide until later in the week.
Well if you're there, at least we can rely on a summary.
I don't know what games these premier league managers watch when they do their post match interviews, seems all 20 teams deserved to win every week, and its the referees fault if not

Re: FA Cup - who's going on?
It’s £20 or £25 on the day depending on whether you read the club’s website or their social media but it’s £15 up to Friday. AreMACCA wrote: ↑Tue Jan 04, 2022 6:22 pmAhh I thought someone mentioned it was £20 if decided on the day when they asked me.

Re: FA Cup - who's going on?
I'd love to but I'm not doing the frickin' M6 two Saturdays running even though it will be a decent game and a win for us.
I fancy us against Leicester, too.

I'll see if my seats free ( we sit in CFS ) and if not see if the group want to move stands, seems the club are putting a few obstacles in the way.
Can't claim your usual seat if in CFS
Prices go up on the day

Wouldn't miss it for the World - that's two more
Re: FA Cup - who's going on?
But it's not £20, it'll be colder up Pendle, so what if you can't have your (obviously precious) seat! Very poor excuses for an obviously fair-weather 'supporter'.MACCA wrote: ↑Tue Jan 04, 2022 5:51 pmNot joking, we are probably taking the dog up pendle, can I park outside your house and visa versa?

Re: FA Cup - who's going on?
Whilst this crap football is going on I'll only be watching football via my season ticket at home I won't be paying extra for cup football or Away games, instead of watching the second team going though the motions over 90 mins with no interest from the players or dyche I'll be doing this instead.

It seems the people who do most shouting about the team/manager won't be there on Saturday, what a surprise!
I wonder when they were last at Turf Moor?

Re: FA Cup - who's going on?
It’s sad that for someone that queued round the block for a Blackpool away ticket all them years ago, I have no interest in Saturday’s match. I used to get a buzz for cup games and still did for the Spurs game in the Carabao but that was the night I was most hacked off with our mentality for cup games and why I won’t be going.
Re: FA Cup - who's going on?
I hope Mr Pace is reading this !!
Re: FA Cup - who's going on?
Think I’ll sit this one out. We usually treat the cups with contempt. After that first half at Leeds some time out will be good and I can get on with household jobs.

Re: FA Cup - who's going on?
It's a no from me and the three who normally come with me.
And I'm getting refunds on our Villa(a) tickets when I can.
If the players can't be arsed (viz Leeds), then neither can I.

We're not going on. We'll most likely be wrapped up warm while out walking somewhere in the Dales.
