A punt on Christian by the Clarets could pay dividends.

He's not fit to play anywhere .I can't believe he's not retiring after his health scare

Re: Christian Eriksen
Don't care how good he is, if he isn't fit he isn't of any use to us. We need to get a player who can play 90 minutes twice a week and good enough to walk into our 1st team. Unlike Roberts and Collins and to a lesser extent Cornet, who is either injured or off to Africa

Re: Christian Eriksen
Anybody else sick of reading “He will go to Newcastle” in relation to every single player that is mentioned on any thread?
Re: Christian Eriksen
I assume you’ve seen his medical report then?Woodleyclaret wrote: ↑Wed Jan 05, 2022 11:59 amHe's not fit to play anywhere .I can't believe he's not retiring after his health scare

Re: Christian Eriksen
One would assume Christian Eriksen has sought more professional advise about his ability to play football after his surgery than a message board expert. I’m also sure whoever does take him on will have had to go through rigorous checks before their underwriters are willing to insure him to play.

Re: Christian Eriksen
Message board expert! Brilliant and very apt! Deserved two exclamation marks.
Re: Christian Eriksen
If he's fit then he would be head and shoulders above anything we have or probably ever have had in recent times- including Defour. Sadly I think they will have to fit him with a wheelchair let alone a pacemaker before he would come to us. Hope he finds a club and proves he can still play if he's medically okay to do so, I thought he was a great player for Spurs.

Re: Christian Eriksen
you could say the same about countless boxers who have been medically advised to retire but have fought on anyway. sometimes no amount of sage advice, not even messageboard expertise, can deter someone from doing what they want.elwaclaret wrote: ↑Wed Jan 05, 2022 1:32 pmOne would assume Christian Eriksen has sought more professional advise about his ability to play football after his surgery than a message board expert. The rule was implemented by the Italian Olympic committee and applies to all sports in the country.Woodleyclaret wrote: ↑Wed Jan 05, 2022 2:15 pmNot allowed to play in Italy so much for doctors eh ? What do they know
Daley Blind has the same device fitted in late 2020 after collapsing during an international game in the August and he's still playing regularly for Ajax, so much for doctors, what do they know....

Would have him here in a heart...
Seriously though massive upgrade on what we have, would love him here if its safe for him to play.

Re: Christian Eriksen
Smug? What am I being smug about? Unless it’s smug to assume teams/insurers will run tests before investing in a multi-million pound contract? I’d call it common sense. Or are you suggesting the Premier League are akin to the type of organisation that granted Joe Bugner a license, because British boxing medical standards had refused him one?

Not sure that he's looking for a multi million pound contract at the moment. He just wants somewhere to play, to prove he's able.elwaclaret wrote: ↑Wed Jan 05, 2022 6:04 pmSmug? He's fitted with the same device as Daley Blind, he's fine to play.Woodleyclaret wrote: ↑Wed Jan 05, 2022 11:59 amHe's not fit to play anywhere .I can't believe he's not retiring after his health scare
