A few of the Sunday papers suggesting that Leicester are going to try and get their game v Everton on Tuesday postponed using covid as an excuse. You would expect our game could be in doubt if that happens

Yeah I posted somewhere on here last night about hearing our game with Leicester looked like it was being called off. Karen Fazackerley mentioned it yesterday evening on twitter

I think we will try for a call off, never mind them.

Funny how it wasn’t an issue in the FA Cup. These clubs need to face some form of punishment.

The FA seemed to be applying different rules to the games this weekend than the PL have been doing. There was much more pressure on getting these games played even if it meant U23s being played.

I believe this should have been the view of the PL too but sadly wasn't

Its now become a game of cat and mouse to make sure that they can manage an injury/absences and the whole thing is just a mockery now.

Cup game we clearly wanted to play because we simply don’t care about the result and would rather it was over with.

It wouldn’t be a bad thing for Leicester to be called off. Gives us time to regroup and it will most likely be rescheduled for when MC is back and any January moves are in.

Would you rather have a Burnley side without Cornet….

Or a Leicester side without Vardy, Ndidi, Evans, Choudry, Ihenacho…just for starters?

We don't need any more postponements no matter what.

Will that be the only missing player for us given the recent covid tests that we have had?

THIS! we already have a backlog to catch up on as it stands, anymore postponements would mean we'll probably face the prospect of cramming our last 8-10 games into a hectic schedule, and possibly playing 3 times a week for a few weeks.

Also Leicester have several out, now we might also be not be at full strength, but on balance I'd prefer the Leicester game to go ahead.

And it's a farce that any fans planning to attend this match, will be booking travel in advance, and it may yet again be called off at the 11th hour.

My line up would be :

Pope
Bardsley- give the crowd a much needed lift with some hefty tackles and no worse than Lowton.
Mee
Collins
Taylor
Brownhill
Westwood
Stephens
JBG
McNeil
J Rod

Time to let McNeil play as a 10 and run at Leicester every time he gets the ball, J Rod playing just in front of him.

I'd have Brownhill on the right as our crossing quality is so poor, we may as well have somebody who's a decent short passer out there and could maybe pick out Dwight or J Rod to feet.

Wood looks shot, and would be an excellent option from the bench.Tarky to me looks distracted, especially over the last couple of games so misses out.

A few will be back for Leicester. Only a despicable action by them, conning the system, will stop the game.

Is it 7 days now to self-isolate? I can't keep track.

I think they also have to be at some level, according to Mr Woan, yesterday, however, never heard that before.

As Wood got a groin injury yesterday I presume he'll be a doubt next Saturday if the game goes ahead.

We've got 21 games to play. 17 at weekends, 1 midweek, 3 tba. No cup ties, so some vacant weekends as well. There is not a chance that we will have to play 3 games per week.

Yes the FA Cup weekends could be an option to fit some of the missed games in, if the FA and PL allow it.

But the Watford match has already been rescheduled, and Everton and Spurs both progressed in the cup this weekend, Vila might ne out by tomorrow night however.

Depends obviously whether we suffer any further postponements, and in the present climate nothing can be ruled out.

16 spare midweeks, 3 matches to fit in. We will not have to play 3 matches per week.

These team's now naming injuries, covid and ACON for excuses to have games postponed is a joke, ACON player's out, hard luck you shouldn't buy them if you can't cope with them playing in it, injuries, all part of the game, just bullshit excuse to get a game called off they can't play their first starting Xl.

Funny how Leicester scrapped a team together for the FA Cup game against a fellow Premier league team and won 4 - 1 yet will probably not have a team to play against us at the weekend

Leicester would be daft to call this off while we only have Jay up front and plenty who have had Covid. Even with half a side they should expect to win, Maddison is on fire. May suit us though in terms of Watford.

Yes, the only reason Leicester are happy for this to go ahead is because they think they can beat us.
