Shake up in training this week?
Shake up in training this week?
Different training times, different training routines. Prioritise high-tempo, forward-pass-and-move routines in 11 vs 11 real match scenarios (with some of our best u23 players in the starting line-up).
We need more power, pace, aggression AND CONCENTRATION in training and less laughing and joking about.
Anything to shake the players (and coaches) up a bit! We seem to be dream walking towards relegation.

Is that happening or just what you want to happen?

We have got to get some of the u23s involved just to improve the athleticism of the team if nothing else.

Re: Shake up in training this week?
There is a world of difference between what happens in training and what happens during a match.
It’s all well and good telling the players what to do, but if it’s not working they need to have the autonomy to be able to change that without fearing repercussions.

I think they’ve been so well drilled over the years, when needed they no longer have the ability to read a match and change the tempo, tactics what is needed. They’ve had the freedom drilled out of them.

Re: Shake up in training this week?
I’m sure the years of coaching qualifications and hours spent on studying the complexities of physical and mental performance of humans will mean that our coaching/ performance analysts/ medical team will understand if the solution is as simple as the OP has suggested is the answer.
If anyone thinks the solution is this simple, can I suggest that you should maybe ask why clubs spend lots of money in these areas supporting our players.
Could save a fortune and employ some real experts from this forum.

Re: Shake up in training this week?
I am with you. If a company was in a similar situation with lets say sales plumetting you would have thought all key staff would be pulled together and have a summary of the situation and create an action plan. You would have thought BFC was no different. What would be disappointing would be if we just put Saturday down as a bad day in the office and we just continue as normal for the Leicester game. Hopefully Mr Pace has his hands on the rudder. He might find he learns more from these situations than when things are going well (even though he may not have experienced yet many good times)Mala591 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 10, 2022 8:05 amDifferent training times, different training routines. time for the black bin bags and rocky logs.
Re: Shake up in training this week?
Just how the pace of a 30+ yesr old can be improved I dont know. I doubt the coaches do.Mala591 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 10, 2022 8:05 amDifferent training times, different training routines. What does need improving is the willingness to battle. Some in team, many in fact, seem to have given up. They need dropping.

Tell everybody to keep away from the club till Friday give everybody a good rest go again Saturday if game is on utc
Re: Shake up in training this week?
Absolutely and I'd be front of that, make no mistake about it, if I was given any say I wouldn't be frittering away precious resources on the likes of Stephens(£5m), Vydra (£13m), Brownhill(£12m) and Jay Rodriguez (£17m). I assume Dyche doesn't watch football in his free time, apart from the EFL highlights on Quest and potentially MOTD.clarethomer wrote: ↑Mon Jan 10, 2022 11:56 am

Re: Shake up in training this week?
He won’t have as much free time as some on here I’ll guarantee that.
Re: Shake up in training this week?
Yes, that Dyche bloke. He knows nothing. Hardly been involved in football, or successful at all. Some Internet football expert I'd much rather have. Where is the petition ?KRBFC wrote: ↑Mon Jan 10, 2022 4:00 pmAbsolutely and I'd be front of that, make no mistake about it, if I was given any say I wouldn't be frittering away precious resources on the likes of Stephens(£5m), Vydra (£13m), Brownhill(£12m) and Jay Rodriguez (£17m). Re: Shake up in training this week?
I reckon there is a tv show to be made of this.
A load of people go into random professions they’ve never had any involvement in before and try to tell them where they are going wrong.
We could call it “Come Advise With Me”
We’d just need to find some people who don’t realise they are being exploited for other peoples laughs.

I could continue trolling you and stringing you along but I can't be arsed, you're way too gullible and easy. You read everything so seriously, relax buddy it's not that serious. Bordeaux FCBordeauxclaret wrote: ↑Mon Jan 10, 2022 4:16 pmI reckon there is a tv show to be made of this.

Re: Shake up in training this week?
You never know, we might mix it up this weekend to bamboozle Leicester, rather than the Tarky hoof to Wood, we could use the Mee Whack up to Jay?
