Whilst i liked Wood as a player for us and be grateful for the goals he scored for us, I feel this season his heart has not been in it and it has reflected in his poor performances.
On reflection I honestly think that this move can be of benefit to the club and our relegation fight. Providing we can get a couple of players in quickly who have some pace and of a similar standard to Cornet. Now that Wood has gone we will maybe stop playing the long ball and start playing football.
I wish Wood all the best at his new club except when they play us of course.

i'm another that couldn't care less he's gone. Our over reliance on playing aimless balls up to him especially this season is one of the biggest reasons the Turf is only 2/3rds full. Time for a change

He’s been good for us in general. His goal scoring record is excellent at this level.
Just a shame he’s been so far off it this season.

I'm not going to say good riddance e because he's been generally a good player for us. This seaaon he has struggled but we will miss our ability to use him as a way ti get higher up the lit h with a percentage ball if needed.

I hope his form is just than (and not him coasting because he was thinking he might be better off elsewhere) because if its the latter he could do well at Newcastle.

Whilst I don't blame him for just.ping (especially as they will be paying top dollar) I hope he is a massive failure or picks up a knock that keeps him out for a while and soft Eddie takes the Mags down
