Be a good day out that Saturday.
If it was true though the fixture planners would have the Villa game on the Saturday as well

Dont think Sky or BT will want to cover these games other than to celebrate our relegation

Would never happen though because they won't extend the season, however, they could fit them in the week before the Newcastle game which is on Sunday anyway. Just the Leicester gae to fit in then.

We'd still only get 5 minutes on MOTD.

Season ends on 22nd of May.
Going to be tricky whatever way they do it. FA Cup weekends and a few midweekers, international weeks are not going to help us either.

PL just updated it... Watford, Spurs and Everton all have kickoff time of 23:00 on Saturday.

I have just noticed that Chelsea have played six, that’s SIX more games than us. Many teams have played four or five more than us. It’s just got ridiculous really. We are going to be involved in the only game played on quite a few days between now and the end of the season.

And we'll still be last on Match of the Day.

Just Googled it, the international breaks are:
January 24, 2022 to February 2, 2022
March 21, 2022 to March 29, 2022
Would like to think there’s enough weekends for it to not become too damaging, especially as clubs get knocked out of the cup.

It's been said that the winter break, nor the current FA Cup weekend will be used to reschedule any postponed game.

I presume due to it being FA cup weekend and the team time live tv game is Cambridge Luton and this is the only game they don't mind it clashing with. There is a cup at 8pm on live TV too so this fits in

According to the DM Ranieri has requested that the Watford game be scheduled in the Winter break.

Because it's a TV fixture and that's the only available slot that weekend.

Ah, just realised 5th Feb is a Saturday. I thought it was a weekday. That’s not so bad.

Lets hope Ivory Coast get knocked out by Egypt so we get Cornet back for it!
