Dreadful timings with the 2 matches at Blackpool being during the day, and not during half term meaning I can't take my lad who is a member.

Concerts more important than cricket it would appear unfortunately.

Isn't one of the Blackpool games on a Sunday?

Chris I understand your frustration especially for your lad with half term but to say concerts are more important than cricket is just not how the club operate. Concerts are another revenue stream as is The Hilton and the coffee franchise on site. Hospitality for all United games plus a car park that brings in over a quarter of a million pounds and a 12 month hospitality venue allow Lancs to remain an international cricket venue. Work starts on Monday to demolish the old red rose suite and replaced by a new stand with enhanced elevated member viewing with fantastic retail and heritage areas included.

If people think all this can happen with just 6k members and a sold out T20 with Yorkshire that’s never going to happen.

Hope you keeping well buddy - if you are at Arsenal on Sunday give us s shout otherwise I’ll see you at EOT or a sneaky game at Alty!!

I do understand that the alternative revenue streams are important to all cricket clubs, and that the ground redevelopment wouldn't take place without it (which in turn allows us to have test status). And I'm also a bit hypocritical given I've tickets to watch the Foo Fighters in June

It's just a bit frustrating for my lad as he's really getting into his cricket both playing and watching, and the T20 last season played a big part in it. He'll be gutted to miss matches as they are during the day when he's at school.

All good other than that, hopefully we can push on again this season and try and win the CC after coming so close last time! Also hopefully will see you at OT and catch up over a pint!

Sadly Liverpool CC did not submit a proposal to host any of the games away from EOT so it’s Blackpool Southport and Sedbergh.

Do all outgrounds have to bid for their chance to host a game?
Liverpool CC didn't seem very happy about it on twitter.
