Yes condolences CC. Likewise my dad was a lifelong Claret, born and bred in Burnley; we were great pals, and some of our best times together were our matchdays from when he first took me on the Turf in 'Oct. 65 until his all-too-early death in Dec. '78. One of my most treasured possessions is the scarf he gave me for my debut game.
Sounds like you have many happy memories of him to always keep with you, and which will always be a comfort.
