Canada
Exciting times! Beat the noisy neighbours. Unbeaten in qualifying so far.

Re: Canada
They are very, very exciting young players. Anchored by old pros like Larin and Borjan.

Hell of save from Borjan btw! You have to forgive him for doing a Kiraly with trackies given the temps!CharlieinNewMexico wrote: ↑Mon Jan 31, 2022 7:42 amThey are very, very exciting young players. Anchored by old pros like Larin and Borjan.

Done without Scott Arfield too, was reported last week that he's retired from international football.

Re: Canada
Always a mystery why Scot never made the Scottish squads of that time he was playing for us which, let's face it, were never the best they'd ever had.

Re: Canada
Was surprised to be honest given the lack of quality Scotland had and who was being selected ahead of him.

Strachen wasn't it around the time Scotty was on a roll with us?

Re: Canada
Two extremely impressive performances by our men's team, a win vs El Salvador this coming Wednesday will go a long way to cement WC qualifying
In the second game vs US I was impressed with our left back Sam Adekugbe, runs like the wind, good on the ball, strong in the tackle and showed a lot of composure scoring a nice goal in the dying seconds to seal the win. British born, 27 years of age, plays his club footy with Hatayspor in Turkey. I realise Burnley have a good number of left sided players but Sam may warrant a look see.
