Re: 2022/23 season tickets
I've just had a go - can't renew mine, can't renew my partners, can't renew as a pair.
After several attempts another "orange seat" appeared on the same row but 5 seats away.
This was in a bright orange, whereas our seats are in a dull orange !!!!
Absolutely shocking way of doing business, I shouldn't have to work so hard, to no avail, to
part with almost £600.
Someone needs to get this sorted pretty quickly, as some people with less tolerance or ability or patience
will throw in the towel, and quite rightly so, and spend their money elsewhere.
Fortunately I live in the town and can visit those very nice people in the ticket office and get it sorted - the point is
that, in this day and age, I shouldn't have to do that.

Re: 2022/23 season tickets
Is there any reason why your seat renewal isn't just in your basket ready to be purchased, instead of having to hunt around for your seat on the stadium plan? What with that and the issue with some people's accounts not being linked properly the whole process is an asbolute shambles.

Re: 2022/23 season tickets
I purchased 2 tickets for today's Padiham match a few weeks ago with no problems at all.
I've just renewed our season tickets for Lowerhouse Cricket Club, again, with no issues whatsoever.
Granted there are no seats involved, but nevertheless it's not really rocket science for crying out loud.

Re: 2022/23 season tickets
OK, I’ve now managed to get this to work, so this is how in case it helps others. Definitely different to prior years so something has changed in the software.CrosspoolClarets wrote: ↑Fri Feb 04, 2022 6:39 pmI’ve renewed my ticket but my other families tickets are in “friends and family” so I can see them in orange but it won’t let me buy 2 tickets, even one at a time.
I then register my family member for a club account and link to a ticket account with that claret number, having done all that I got in and tried to renew but it doesn’t show the seat as available at all, even in orange.
So I think this has definitely gone wrong and I’ll have no choice but to ring the ticket office.
First rule of business - never make the customer feel they have to work hard to keep using your product.
As well as the above I have had to add myself as a Friends and Family under my family members new ticket accounts (they were already longstanding F&F on MY account).
That makes their seat appear in orange and able to be purchased when we log in under their ticket account. Before that their seat only showed in orange in my login, but won’t let me purchase it as well as mine.
I presume this software flaw is because the seats were all originally purchased by me but using F&F Clarets Numbers. Anybody with that identical situation needs to follow the above logic.

Renewed mine, no problem, other than it offered me the option to renew my F&F (3).
No chance they can do it themselves

Re: 2022/23 season tickets
To be fair CC, nobody should have to do any of that farting about to part with a serious amount of money.
It should be that your ticket is already in your basket to purchase - then the question should be asked "do you
want to renew any tickets in your friends and family ?"
YES - select the one's you want and add to your basket. The correct amount is shown for the correct seats
with the total being payable by card.
It seems that this simple operation is way beyond the capabilities of our IT people.
Do they know about this shambles, are they doing anything about it, do they care ?
I'm beginning to wonder.

I m not sure what the issue is to be honest, just renewed ours, all straight forward, and took around 2 minutes. Maybe a bug on certain browsers or phone platform maybe?
Re: 2022/23 season tickets
Yes mate just went to renew mine and then it asked if I wanted renew my FF at the same time which I did and then git 2 x emails 1 gor me and 1 for my son confirming the 2022/2023 season tickets had been purchased
Re: 2022/23 season tickets
I did mine through my phone browser if the helps. And DD.

That is quite possible. I have tried on Apple Mac and Apple Ipad and had problems on both, not tried Android or Windows.

Re: 2022/23 season tickets
I gave up trying and rang ticket office, got through straight away and a very nice person sorted my sons season ticket by DD in 2 mins. I could only do mine yesterday. Recommend trying ticket office if you're struggling.
Re: 2022/23 season tickets
Just tried to renew ours without success. I can get as far as “renew season ticket” but after clicking on it, it says “chose your
seat” but of course it then shows all the seats currently taken, including ours. Tried several times now and decided to give up. Probably send an email in a few weeks time for assistance. Was hoping it would be a simple exercise.

Re: 2022/23 season tickets
I selected Renew Season Ticket then Choose Seat. Selected my stand then got a plan of the stand with my seat and my son's in dull orange. I went straight from there to "Buy Tickets" (without clicking on my seat) and got the option to renew my seat by payment in full or by Direct Debit. I selected Direct Debit and then filled in the Bank Details form that appeared.

Nope. Tried calling the ticket office yesterday several times and that was a waste of time. No answer. Emailed them and the SLO. No response. I’ll draw the conclusion that this all just bluster and fanfare and that they don’t actually give a fig about the fans, because this is shocking. But hardly surprising.claretandy wrote: ↑Sat Feb 05, 2022 10:04 amHas anyone been able to get an answer to how you renew your kids season tickets online and direct debit?

Re: 2022/23 season tickets
I just did mine. My son is in his thirties so he can do his own. I only keep him in my Friends and Family for buying away match tickets to ensure we get adjacent seats. However, it looked like I could have done both.

Anyone waiting for the credit from share(s) sales before they renew?
Re: 2022/23 season tickets
Sorry if it's a daft question...I've ordered my first season ticket, I assume it's a card that you swipe like a credit card? Or does it have a QR code? Cheers

Going off the mess that the season ticket renewal system appears to be, I fully expect that not to be straightforward either, even if the money comes through in time.

Re: 2022/23 season tickets
Was dreading ringing today to order my son’s first season ticket. Couldn’t do it online as I’ve had to choose the nearest spare seat which I couldn’t purchase for a child for obvious reasons. Got through on the second attempt and the lady was extremely helpful and set up his account, linked it to my friends and family etc. Pleasantly surprised.

Renewed earlier this evening, took about 45 seconds including keying in my DD details.
Re: 2022/23 season tickets
I always pay by cash up front, just had a nosey at the web site and it says "available " for my seat !
Shouldn't it say unavailable until i have renewed or not ?

Re: 2022/23 season tickets
I’ve had enough, can’t be arsed renewing now. I live and work in Preston, only time I go to Burnley is when we play at home. I’m not messing about queuing up before a game, life is too short. I’ve used the DD scheme for years, now I can’t even log in, bfc say they’ve sent an e-mail to me with a link to change my password. They haven’t, so my £455 will be spent elsewhere. I’m not even gonna bother trying again. I’m out.

Re: 2022/23 season tickets
Just renewed successfully.
My seat number in the seat plan showed in “orange”. Selected that which confirmed the seat and placed it in my basket.
Checkout indicated correct seat and price.
Completed the process buying ST in full not by DD
Received e-mail confirmation.
My daughter followed my method and has successfully renewed.
I must add that this WASN’T done in a single attempt, I had several attempts, getting similar results as have been mentioned by others.
Maybe it was my turn for a lucky result. UTC

well I've managed to buy my season ticket but friends and family is definitely not available.
I will have to ring the ticket office to buy my daughters ticket.
Mr Pace we are at a tricky point and I'm trying to give up you £800, it really shouldn't be this difficult!

However, I agree, the system isn't fit for purpose, its a complete shambles and has been since we purchased it.

Re: 2022/23 season tickets
Have rung ip several times this week and given option 2 as requested.
Each time I have been told all the lines are busy and to give details of what I am wishing to do.
I have left message re wishing to renew my season ticket by Direct Debit.
I have not had a call back
It is not a free phone call
I will give it a few more goes and then if no joy will post my season ticket back to club and cancel it permanently.
I live in Lincoln and need 3 trains to get to matches.
Last trip the Palace game the train was late at Burnley due to being packed with Sheffield Wednesday fans at Accrington
It was last train from Burnley and pleaded with 2 Railway police to let me on
A nightmare journey to Leeds and fell in the stampede to get off train.
I have no transport and the trains won’t allow me time to get from Lincoln to Burnley . However I was happy to pay £230 ish in Jimmy Mac upper and then perhaps get a few away trips to places nearer Lincoln
If this nonsense continues I will post my card with a letter of complaint and not go on Turf again.
More to life at my age (78 in October) than all this unnecessary stress.
