Youngsters
Is it now time to blood some of the younger lads in and give them a game and a feel for next season in the championship

Re: Youngsters
No it’s not. We are still in a relegation battle. I don’t get the point of all this white flag waving!

Re: Youngsters
Dyche might keep us up yet,you can see why Klopp gives him such respect after todays game.
Re: Youngsters
Current crop good enough for league 1, so certainly shouldn't be playing in the Premier League or the championship

Re: Youngsters
Sense, otherwise they would be playing there now.
Name me 1 of our under 21s good enough for a championship season never mind premier league one.
You can't, stop being ridiculous.

Richardson, Tucker, Thomas, Dodgson
None of them will get a look in under Dyche. He prefers over 30’s

Re: Youngsters
Right now we need our "big players" more than ever. The youngsters yes but only if injuries dictate
Re: Youngsters
Should have as signed about 2 teams worth the last couple of years

You believe they are premier league or championship players now?...Newcastleclaret93 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 13, 2022 5:48 pmRichardson, Tucker, Thomas, Dodgson

I'm not even going to tell you how wrong you are.
Your knowledge of football is worse than my 12 year old daughters who has only been on half a dozen games in the last 3 or 4 seasons.... which is probably the same as you to be fair

You think the players in the first team are currently prem quality?MACCA wrote: ↑Sun Feb 13, 2022 5:54 pmYou believe they are premier league or championship players now?...

Yes I think championship quality at least. As they are better than Benson and Dunne

Re: Youngsters
A few have potential, some just make up the numbers.
But the problem could be that they "stall" as the opportunity to play first team doesn't appear to be there.

Re: Youngsters
It’s hard to know if they are good enough for the Champ without seeing them there. Dunne didn’t look amazing with us and he’s a regular in the team 4th in the league. I actually thought Thomas looked better than him on the occasions I’ve seen him. Then could the likes of Richardson step up, he’s 19 now so why not.MACCA wrote: ↑Sun Feb 13, 2022 5:54 pmYou believe they are premier league or championship players now?...

Re: Youngsters
Richardson seemed to be the one with the biggest chance of stepping up. Hope the injury doesn't stall his career too much, although I fear he may need to leave Burnley if he wants to play football.
