I think they’ll get one point or three against Watford - they’ll lose the other two.
We have to try and nick points in our games in hand. If we beat them at their place their panic stations will be in full swing.

Only the warming up act before their fans start shortly on social media
Sounds pretty violent to meAndreshotboots wrote: ↑Sat Feb 19, 2022 4:46 pmNot a violent person but I really would like to punch Maupay right in the chops!!
I think the difference is that in the last three matches we finally ditched the Dwight on the right inverted winger tosh and went back to playing with two classic wingers pumping in balls to the forwards. Or to put it simply, we went back to doing what worked and what has kept us up every season.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Sat Feb 19, 2022 4:45 pmWe've been playing like that for much of the season, we just weren't getting the results we deserved earlier in the season. We've had a bad patch recently (Leeds and Huddersfield in particular) but we are trying to play football.
Lennon looks to have actually got quicker recently. Looks really sharp
You’ve got a weird obsession with this inverted winger nonsense. JBG has always played on the right, McNeil played on the left 90% of games. Cornet has played on the left if ever out wide. Played the same framework and system as we always have, just missing the details.Long Time Lurker wrote: ↑Sat Feb 19, 2022 4:51 pmI think the difference is that in the last three matches we finally ditched the Dwight on the right inverted winger tosh and went back to playing with two classic wingers pumping in balls to the forwards. The pressing, movement and link up play of Weghorst has also added a new and productive set of options to our game.
Whoever came up with the goals from midfield and playing with inverted winger nonsense should be thrown in the Calder. The fact that we persisted with it for 18 matches was infuriating and it has given us a harder task than we should have had to face.
That's my thinking too. Coupled by a few terrible refereeing decisions that have all gone against us.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Sat Feb 19, 2022 4:45 pmWe've been playing like that for much of the season, we just weren't getting the results we deserved earlier in the season. I must have been watching different games and a different team.RVclaret wrote: ↑Sat Feb 19, 2022 4:55 pmYou’ve got a weird obsession with this inverted winger nonsense. I think you mean Roberts Bosscat, and it was an assist, but that shows exactly what he can offer going forwards.
Defour has featured a lot just lately saying some excellent stuff about us
What a **** up ... I meant Brownhill ... why did I say Collinstiger76 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 19, 2022 5:07 pmI think you mean Roberts Bosscat, and it was an assist, but that shows exactly what he can offer going forwards.
Could be a good time to face Spurs their recent form is poor, and they've been leaking goals for fun.
Touch wood Cornet is alright. a vital cog in our 1st half showing today which set the tone.
Definitely a day to enjoy, but we need to follow this win up on Wednesday. Still plenty of work to do, but we've at least given ourselves a fighting chance now.
Exactly. Even just looking at the two I most think should have gone our way would almost certainly ly have us out of the bottom 3.superdimitri wrote: ↑Sat Feb 19, 2022 4:57 pmThat's my thinking too. Coupled by a few terrible refereeing decisions that have all gone against us.
Always seems a fairly honest bloke. Hard to dislike, which is rare in this league as far as managers go.
Great you got to get to the match , now with the help of another Claret .SussexDon1inIreland wrote: ↑Sat Feb 19, 2022 6:17 pmOn way home from match.
Fantastic performance from the lads
The away support sang their hearts out
Special day and hope this is the springboard to staying up.
Brighton were poor but we were on the front foot from the first whistle
