Pope 7 - solid
Roberts 8 - great delivery for Weghorst
Collins 8 - did well
Mee 9 - very very impressive today
Pieters 8 - did well against Lamptey
Lennon 9 -mom - outstanding today. Brilliant ball for the first. Worked hard and topped off with a great finish too
Cork 8 - tireless
Brownhill 9 - apparently not a Premier league player
McNeil 6 - did ok but rarely troubled them
Cornet 6 - some decent touches and starting to show an understanding with Weghorst
Weghorst 9 - he's like a combination of Wood and Barnes - great game. Links play well and his first goal was a cracker

Rodriguez 7 - worked with with Weghorst. I'd be tempted to start him again on Wednesday and bring on Dwight later in the great like against Liverpool

All in all a very impressive performance - keep this momentum and we can avoid the drop. Make no mistake Brighton are a decent side this season and we made them look like they were bottom of the league

Pope 7 nothing to do but coped with wind well.
Roberts 8 great assist - that pace overlapping is exactly what we’ve wanted at right back for years.
Collins 8 always solid
Mee 7 standard - although not too much to do today.
Pieters 6 quieter one on the ball although he did well with lamptey who is rapid.
Lennon 8 looks to be in the best form for years. He’s still pretty quick - wish he’d use it more just absolutely send it down the line!
Brownhill 8 great for him to get first prem goal. I’ve been a big fan of his for a while now but recently he’s got the credit he deserves. Should be getting in and around the box like that as he’s quick and can shoot.
Cork 7 solid
McNeil 6 thought he has a quiet one, although good little finish with his RIGHT foot for the offside goal!
Weghorst 8 he’s a top footballer and the perfect Burnley striker.
Cornet 7 looks dangerous whenever he has the ball and great movement at times. We need to find a way to utilise him best as he could be immense with weghorst. Took one for the team in the end nipping in front of a swinging boot.
Jay 7 looking good - great option.

Excellent from us in most areas. WW is at least 2 times the player Wood was. Thought Brownhill dominated the centre, Collins looked very solid. Cornet doesn't look quite the same player at the minute, not sure he's 100 percent fit. Roberts got an assist and attacked better today but second half backed away from the opposition far too many times. Pieter's had an ok first half but was excellent in the second, with Lamptey in his pocket for most of it!
We can still do this!

Lennon 8 possibly his best Burnley game.
Brownhill 9 he was everywhere and got his well deserved goal
Cork 8 rarely let’s us down. Very under rated on here
McNeil 7. Looking more like his old self. Unlucky to have a goal disallowed for offside by WW
Cornet 7 some flashes of real skill
WW 10. Best cf display for Burnley in a long time and what a finish

JRod 7 looked sharp.

Team 9. Superb effort.

It works the other way too and I regretted marking so low at Leeds but was too quick to post.

Excellent team performance, continued the performance level from United and Liverpool for a big 3 points. Shoutout to Collins who once again was excellent coming into the side and looks a natural at this level, Lennon who provided two outstanding moments of quality, Brownhill who picked up where he left off against Liverpool + added a goal, and WW who is just the perfect Burnley and Dyche striker.

Pope 8 - Assured in difficult conditions
Roberts 8 - Lots of energy, great pull back for Wout
Pieters 7 - Steady away
Collins 9 - Good partnership with Ben
Mee 9 - Solid
Lennon 8 - superb ball inside the full back for Roberts to set up opener. Worked hard, fine finish
Brownhill 8 - deserved his goal, passing has improved in recent games
Cork 7 - Did ok today
McNeil 7 - A mixed day
Cornet 7 - Kept trying, hope the knock is not serious.
Wout 9 - A handful, uses ball well, good vision, good energy, excellent finish

Jay 8 - He seems to work quite well in partnership with Wout.

Hard to criticize anyone in the conditions on a long-haul away trip. Thoroughly enjoyed that, a well-deserved win. UTC

Brownhill 8 did well again breaking it up, looked more positive in the last 3rd too

McNeil 6 went back too much when he had the grass to run into, god awful free kick, better than t'other week, so progress
Cornet 6 thought he was quiet
Weghorst 9 an excellent finish and an assist, excellent all round game, involved in all the goals. Can't quite believe we got him plus 13m for Mr Wood

We thoroughly deserved that win today, Brighton never laid a glove on us, 1 happy man tonight.

We couldn't, could we.....

Feared the worst with the line up but we showed intent from the off.The work rate and pressing was good and the side looked balanced.

Brownhill 8 again another player suddenly playing at the required PL level
Cork 7 played it on the deck to Burnley players, much better than Westwood.
MacNeil 7 still searching for his best form
Cornet 7 some great link up play with Wout and the much improved midfield.
Weghorst 9 has changed the whole ethos of our attacking play, a joy to watch for a striker.

Jayrod 7 great link up play
Please allow the team to play attacking football like this Mr Dyche. Need to think about the man of the match, Lennon or Wout, not certain.

I don’t usually comment on other poster’s marks as it is all about opinions but anyone who gives our centre halves less than an 8 are just looking for an argument. They were both imperious in difficult conditions.

I dont think anyone was out of this world and Id probably only give 3 9's (maybe 4) with the majority on 8 and a couple of 7's. I would say your marks are as ridiculously high as Newcastle's are as ridiculously low but if thats what you and Newcastle think then fair enough

I'd say an average player rating that translates to excellent is closer than one of above average. Not sure how someone can give an average rating of 6.6 when we won three nil away from home - against a side that only Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea had lost fewer games than before today - and played so well, and yet the same poster said it was of our best ever PL performances - how the **** does that correlate.
