Only on the side going into town, it's much, much better now.

They've put temporary traffic lights at the bottom of Kings Road, near the brewery.

Bloody nightmare, wish I'd known how bad it would be, took forever only to discover the slip road was closed. Signs would have been a bit helpful!

Unlike infrastructure works in the United Kingdom to be undertaken so as to cause maximum disruption without anyone giving a stuff about the public at large. It was made even more strange by the fact that there was not a single person doing any work of any description. The only worker I saw was walking away from the slip road towards the EG site!

An absolute nightmare getting home last night. No warning that the slip road was going to be closed for traffic traveling west. Not helped by club PA being down but surely they could have put some notification on the new digital LED screens warning fans to find alternative routes if possible.

Took me an hour to get out of Burnley last night. I ended up going through Padiham and Whalley to join the M6 northbound at Salmesbury.

Is that on the motorway or all the way around the roundabout or both?

We had a 165 mile trip back from the game-like you it took over an hour to get close to the M65, found it closed off, then not knowing the area well took ages to get away. Then on the M1 it was shut and diverted in two different locations resulting in a 5 hour journey home. Like you did not see any work being done on the entire journey

All the way round now. The lanes coming off the motorway have gone back to normal as well…thank God

Absolutely ridiculous on Tuesday night. Key access routes obstructed on a match night. It beggars belief.

The work starting could have been delayed by an hour and no major impact would have been felt.

They have been there for weeks. Initially they reopened the side travelling westbound out of Burnley. But looks as though they shut it down again so they can pack up and leave as it was clear Wednesday and has been ever since. They really do not give a flying **** about the traffic.

I understand the need for the work but the time it has taken is absolutely ridiculous. The motorway could have been closed for a few nights, access platforms used etc.

It’s actually finished ahead of time believe it or not! It was initially due to end today according to the signs they initially put up.

Defo getting the hours/jobs in. I had quite a long journey that night and not only was the M65 closed, so were parts of the M57 and M62, and for most of the M6 it was one lane (not including the 50 limit that's been there months)
