Come on Newcastle!

Post by IanMcL » Thu Mar 17, 2022 5:03 pm

Who would have thought that, 3 weeks ago?
Everyon's downward spiral must continue. The worse the result, the deeper the nails in their relegation coffin!

Come on Burnley couple of wins and put 'em under pressure.

Don’t worry about Everton, they certainly won’t be going down.

I hope you are not a betting man, several top pundits agree with my view- that they are in very serious trouble.

They are in serious trouble, just not as much trouble as Norwich, Us and Watford.

Come on Eddie do us a turn please. Wouldn't mind Chris Wood notching a few goals for Newcastle now they're safe either.

Disagree with you evaluation of us. I expect Everton and Leeds will be fighting it out for the final spot. Cannot believe how many are writing us off so soon. You NEVER right off Burnley, we’ve beaten far worse odds than this, manny times.

Everton's run in is horrendous, they've to play almost all the top teams and their form's terrible.

However, we have to play our part and win a few.
Which isn't really looking likely tbh.

I admire your optimism, but our own manager and players have already pretty much written us off with that disgusting performance they chucked in at the weekend.

Just had a small bet on CW to get the first goal; he's 6/1 equal favourite with Richarlison.
Bookies have Everton as favourites for the game but, looking at the teams, I fancy (and hope to see) a Newcastle win.

How much do we miss Chris Wood at the moment. Someone that can win fouls and hold up the ball.

A terrible game, bereft of any skill or guile. When St.maximan doesn't play Newcastle look very ordinary. Everton playing badly enough to win it.

13 free kicks - 9 against Everton & 4 against Newcastle. Pawson started blowing for everything and then just started letting everything go.

Disgusting performance 😂

We were a cross bar away from probably a comfortable win.

It wasn’t the best performance but, my word,…. ‘disgusting’ , give over.

Not at all - now we have no need to rely on fouls as we have someone who can control the ball and pass it
