I wonder if we got Kompany if we might get some of the City kids on loanBabylonClaret wrote: ↑Tue Apr 19, 2022 12:46 pmWell that is a twist. Not sure about that - could be a Howe mk2 appointment - ie exciting but with the potential to go tits up I the same way. (I mean all appointments have the potential to go sour but I suspect the element of gamble is different if you went for someone say with experience.
If it were a toss up between Norwegian and Kompany I might tip towards Kompany - he knows the Emglish game and has contacts plus has respect

Didn't realise he spent a few months over here, in London and Manchester.

In that case we can sign him next month, when he's back on the market.

These markets are not good indicators. Bloke reads Twitter / UTC, puts a fiver on, market will change.
I'm not reading anything into these markets. If a candidate suddenly goes 1/10 you know it is a done deal. I'll never forget how I felt when Brian Laws became very very short priced.

Re: Name the next manager
Exactly, not a lot unfortunately to go off, really dislike periods when we don't have a manager. Searching social media for scraps of unreliable information.
