Re: Name the next manager
Fans, like collectors, want everything connected to the hobby.eastcoastclaret wrote: ↑Thu Jun 09, 2022 1:43 pmFans hate being kept in the dark but BFC is a business. You could argue that a football club is different but it isn't really, they offer a product and the fans are it's customers. Some of the comments on here and on twitter looking into every aspect of the club leads me to think people have way to much time on their hands. You wouldn't do it with any other business you are a customer of.
Just because we are not being drip fed information every day, doesn't mean that the club are doing nothing. There are many things happening right now to get ready for the new season. Enjoy your summer, take a break from the news and relax. Far too many fans are working themselves up and getting angry for no reason. It really isn't good for your health.
If done correctly, information can prove lucrative to the seller and valued by the customer.
It can work both ways.

Kompany to be unveiled next week (possibly Monday) according to Belgian media. Pretty much what Chris Boden said a few days ago.

I once stood on his foot and he shouted at me.
Re: Name the next manager
Told off a good a source you can likely get for that information.
Macca on the previous page probably similar given his recent posts.

And it sounds like we've been working behind the scenes regarding transfers, for some time.

Re: Name the next manager
I can’t believe a day after Macca’s post, and he has shown to have inside sources on this, that after 79 pages I’m the only one to suck the news in and celebrate with a “yay”

was pretty much done the moment he left Anderlecht in my mind, I didn't see anything stopping it so didn't understand the panic on here.
Re: Name the next manager
There have definitely been some bumps in the road since then and times where the deal could have been off (Gladbachs interest).

Re: Name the next manager
Could it have been off though once a work permit is applied for?
I'm pretty sure the club would have to send evidence of a signed contract to the government department that issues work permits in this case as one wouldn't be granted on the basis he hasn't signed yet but he might do.

The delay is the camper van he and his coaching staff were travelling in was detained on the Belgium/French border for a week. Thankfully Pace and Steele Ford and Newton secured their onward journey to the UK. Announcement soon.

Heard a strong rumour we care in for an ex Man City defender. Can't reveal my source bit it's very reliable.

Delph would be my bet…
Yes he’s 32 but he could cover both left back and midfield for us for a year or two whilst we develop long term replacements.

Re: Name the next manager
If said rumour is true , I can’t see any of them being realistic other than Delph as previously mentioned by someone else , or Philipe Sandler who is a free agent , and he has featured as sporadically as Kevin Long has in his career.

Re: Name the next manager
Surely the board needs a permanent threat called Vincent Vendredi
Re: Name the next manager
I still stick to this posted on the 25th May. And posters still dont understand how to read the board when information is given, and then even worse call in to question the knowledge.
