For me yes in a heartbeat, once he has chilled out, maybe reassessed his playing philosophy and given some serious money , he is a top manager and I just would love to see him benefit from the academy and Gawthorpe ylin which he was so selfless in asking the club to divert money to when we got our first promotion.
I have been critical of his tactics and team selections but as supporters it's what we do. It won't quite be the same without him.
For the record there is F all chance of me inheriting anything .

Big no from me, great memories, he has done so much for us. But like Wenger, he has overstayed his welcome. Football is a results business, and he hasnt been getting results, or even really getting us off our seats too much, Cornet has done that, a player he didnt want

A fortune?
If I had a fortune big enough I'd buy Man City and shut it down.
With what I had left I'd get the unemployed Guardiola in.

I am sure I would ask, but by then he will be managing a bigger club with more money, so like the snake island lads said to the Warsaw. “. “

How much do you have in mind? You need to be a billionaire (several billions) to keep a club in the Premier League.bfcjg wrote: ↑Fri Apr 15, 2022 9:38 pmFor me yes in a heartbeat, once he has chilled out, maybe reassessed his playing philosophy and given some serious money , he is a top manager and I just would love to see him benefit from the academy and Gawthorpe ylin which he was so selfless in asking the club to divert money to when we got our first promotion.

No, I wouldn't get Sean Dyche back. Someone younger, more ambitions for the club they (she or he) manage.

Any fortune is more than the minus 200 million we have today.

A big no.
If I could buy the club for £10 I wouldn't have him back.

Well that’s how much Pace paid.
If we had money in the bank that was used to buy use, it was money we had.
Pace put in 15 million.
He owes the rest.
So you argue it’s 185 million.
Still not. Debt we ever had before.

Except there's a big part of the £170m price to buy 84% of the club hasn't been paid. Maybe a lot of that will not need to be paid if the team is relegated.
And, there are others who are guarantors for repayment of MSD's £60m loan. Yes, secured on club assets but not only secured on the club's assets.

No. I am A Burnley fc supporter not a Dyche fc supporter.
For me it is UTC not UTD.
Time we moved on. May as well get Mullen or Stan back if we are basing how good a manger for our current situation on what they did for us in the past.

Paul you can paint it in a positive light as much as you like. You can spin we will not need to pay it if we are relegated, sorry I dealt with Americans. What they are is very savvy on financial deals.
In the end BFC will be screwed.

I’m guessing he wouldn’t want to come back. New horizons beckon. Anyone who can spend just £460,000 and get a club promoted into the Premier League, and then get them back there for six seasons has to be talented and treasured. The world is his Oyster.

Question... How do you make a small fortune from buying a Football Club.
Answer... Start with a large fortune

I don't think anyone could spend their own money on dull football, lots complain after spending the price of a match ticket.
If I was putting 20m a season in I would expect prime Barcelona.

Goodness, Lowbank, you say I'm "paint[ing] in a positive light" while you also admit that the £200m you quote is wrong. I've no idea which Americans you've dealt with, most people who are "savvy on financial deals" will know what the correct numbers are.Lowbankclaret wrote: ↑Fri Apr 15, 2022 11:34 pmPaul you can paint it in a positive light as much as you like. I know you are referring to BFC when you say "we owe.." but, at worst BFC is only on the hook for the MSD £60m if others default. No way does BFC have to pay any of the rest of your "£200m" which is the shares money not yet paid to ex-directors. Those guys will simply not get paid that money, because that's the outcome of the deal they did.

Does sound like the right move, probably needed some time ago.
Not just about Dyche but the whole coaching staff.
The spark was missing, we were barely firing on two cylinders at times.

I’d love to see him manage a club with spending power, just to see how good he is.
With no money it was all being pragmatic and until this season it worked for him and us.
As they say you can’t sing the same song to the same audience and with our very slow player turnover rate that is what has happened.
Our number of OOCs at season end hasn’t helped I blame ALK for this as I can understand them wanting to freshen the squad up but too many players are looking to their future instead of concentrating on the now.

Big money on players like Vydra, Gibson, Hendrick, Brady has been paid out for not much return has always left seeds of doubt with me.
