I was asked yesterday for some parking advice for someone driving down from the north west and I suggested parking at Waltham Cross and getting the train to Northumberland Park. I think it was herts-clarets who first suggested it and we've used it a few times. However, it doesn't look a good option on a Sunday with a very limited train service.

Has anyone any suggestions?

The good news for Burnley fans is that it's Spurs last home game of the season.

Their team will be doing a lap of honour so fans will stay back and allow Burnley fans first use of the tube/train stations, if any are operating?

The problem is all the rail lines operate a much reduced service on a Sunday

Aren't the trains from WHL reduced on a Sunday too?

Every half an hour. 10:35 or 11:05 outbound and there’s one back at 14:07.

A suggestion I came up with for the League Cup semi in 2008/9 as I worked close to Waltham Cross Station.

We’ve used it twice herts, including our last visit, but it’s one train per hour on a Sunday and with a change.

For anyone traveling by train they are extra trains on match days. From Northumberland park there are trains to Liverpool street at 14, 24, 29, 44, 54 and 59 past 2 (as well as trains at 13:54 and 13:59 if you leave a bit earlier), so more than 2 trains an hour.
They always put more trains on as they have to with a ground that big so whatever station you use they will be trains. They appear to be every 15 mins from WHL going to Liverpool street too. If you are heading north they are less frequent but they won’t be as busy. Most people will be heading into london. Hope this helps.

If you're going by car, parking up and walking to the ground it might be worth checking whether your vehicle is subject to the "London Ultra Low Emissions Charge" (which applies anywhere within the North and South Circular roads, such as the Tottenham area).

This link will help you quickly verify:
