I can't say I've ever read an interesting tweet from a footballer before.

Re: Social Media
i can honestly say i have never used any social media account in my life. i have no need to inform people who do not know me or who are not close friends what i am up to. my close family and friends are aware and that is all that matters.

Re: Social Media
Think the OP is referring to the social media content that’s been posted by the clubs accounts since Dyche and co left. Been a definite increase. Decent video yesterday of the lads playing a darts tourny.

You should have said that in the first place rather than saying something that was plainly wrong.pushpinpussy wrote: ↑Wed Apr 27, 2022 6:56 pmIll put it in simpler terms for you if it helps. ive never used Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and all the other sites most other people use to get an ego boost.

Re: Social Media
Some people use Facebook/Insta to get attention, they'll post something about some drama in their life to get flattering comments etc.
Usually happens with relationship break ups, then their friends can tell them their ex is silly, they were too good for them etc etc etc.
It's usually the same idiots who'll say their kids come first from now on

Re: Social Media
Best policy leave everything well alone, the world managed perfectly fine without it for years & some people just simply don’t need it & are happier living a quiet life.pushpinpussy wrote: ↑Wed Apr 27, 2022 6:07 pmi can honestly say i have never used any social media account in my life. i have no need to inform people who do not know me or who are not close friends what i am up to. my close family and friends are aware and that is all that matters.

The average player on social media:
Monday. Porridge for breakfast. My wife makes it with brown sugar. Chicken for lunch then a game of golf - shot 85. Off to the pictures tonight.
Tuesday. Why does no-one respect my privacy?

Re: Social Media
Or footballers & celebrities:
Monday. Me & my wife are going out tonight to a Michelin starred restaurant to celebrate (insert whatever reason) & it should be a late 1.
Tuesday. I’d like to inform all my followers that last night my house got broken into & my prized Cartier watches got stolen amongst other valuable possessions.
