Everton or Leeds.
Everton or Leeds.
A simple yet pleasing question.
Who would you rather see relegated Everton or Dirty Leeds?

Everton.
Half my family are Leeds fans (Mums side) and I enjoy our games against them due to that. Always good banter in the family.

Everton, they're rich and a big club.

Everton. They’ve got away with it twice in the past, dubiously. They also have the backing to be strong next year. If DL lose Phillips they are goosed next season anyway.
Re: Everton or Leeds.
I wish Everton could take all 3 places....
Could end up being one of my favourite seasons.

Don't really care as long as it's not us, let's not get carried away yet there's still work to be done.
However it would be hilarious seeing how Everton dealt with all their massive wages as a Championship club.

Leeds would give me a lot more pleasure, living in North Yorkshire, but I couldn't care less, as long as we stay up.

Everton, although Leeds would make a lot of my UTC's fan club very happy
Re: Everton or Leeds.
If Everton were to drop they'd be playing 46 cup finals next season as every team would certainly see them as the team to beat.

My head says Everton, but after having a Leeds-fan Nephew call in for a coffee immediately after the Norwich match, I feel I ought to repay the favour.
Re: Everton or Leeds.
I read that Everton will have to do a firesale if they go down. No wage cuts believed to be in any contracts. 185m wage bill.

That's why I think they could do a Leeds during the Risdale era.
Those players wouldn't like the championship, theyd have teams raising their game because it's Everton

Re: Everton or Leeds.
To want DL would mean a hairy end to the season for us, as it requires Everton to get enough points to virtually catch us.
So from a nerves point of view and the simplest of ends to the season. It has to Everton.
Its a damn shame we cant have both.

Everton. See how arab dodgy money can implode. New stadium to grace the championship in the shadow of the three graces woild be ironic.
Re: Everton or Leeds.
Either, just not us. I actually think Everton will beat Chelsea tomorrow.
Re: Everton or Leeds.
I’d usually always pick Leeds, but I’d have to opt for Everton, on this occasion.
Re: Everton or Leeds.
It’s a shame both can’t go down. Everton for the banter and Leeds because they are almost as horrible as those who interfere with equines.

Everton… Leeds are poor and will be in the mix to go down next season. Everton SHOULD be top half… Benitez and Lampard must go down as 2 of the worst managerial appointments of all time.

I hate Leeds... awful club, awful fans... but just this once I'd love it to be Everton down. They have an arrogance about them that is absolutely perplexing. Their fans think they are up there with the really big boys, the reality is they spend £200m a year to be no better than us.

Re: Everton or Leeds.
I did think that, however our late, late show today hasn't half heaped the pressure onto them for tomorrow, and knowing even a win won't lift them out of the relegation zone, will hopefully play heavily on the minds of the Everton players and fans.

Indeed Everton are of the clubs who seem to think they have a divine right to always play in the PL, for that alone it would be novel to see how they coped with a spell in the Championship.bobinho wrote: ↑Sat Apr 30, 2022 7:32 pmI hate Leeds... awful club, awful fans... but just this once I'd love it to be Everton down. Thought this thread was about which forum we are enjoying reading.
I’ve just spent 10 minutes on the Everton one, most entertaining 10 mins of the day.
Could still go wrong for us, but as an Evertonian said, lose tomorrow and they have to improve on their seasonal points per game tally to catch us even if we lose all remaining games.

Points on the board is vital at this stage of the season, given a choice I'd always rather have the points than the games in hand.CrosspoolClarets wrote: ↑Sat Apr 30, 2022 7:50 pmThought this thread was about which forum we are enjoying reading.

Re: Everton or Leeds.
Are Everton not royally F’d in the A if they stay up due to them being about to fail FFP?
If that’s the case, then Leeds to go down this year and Everton to take the points deduction and go next year.

I hope Leeds because my Dad is an Evertonian but he was always happy to take me on Turf when I was a kid because he wanted me to support a local team.
Saying that it looks like it will be Everton. Great club much nicer than Leeds.

Everton this season coz it'd be interesting to see how they cope next season.

Normally have a soft spot for Everton, going back to Bob Latchford and Andy King, but this time I hope they go. Big time Charlie’s all ego no class. And if Keane’s crap give him a free back to Burnley.
Don’t see Leeds as improving leaps and bounds next season, and Everton need bringing back to reality. Be quite funnny to see the Stadium opening spoilt too — they wiped a lot of history from Liverpool making it.

Everton
There is a fire sale coming at Everton this summer and I fancy our chances of 6 points against them than Everton next season.
