I'm glad it's on TV, but I hope my nerves can stand it. I wouldn't be like this if the club hadn't been sold in the way it was.

I’m at Villa Park but if I hadn’t been then I’d be relieved it was on tv. Far, far worse listening to commentary or waiting for updates.

Yeah, that's true. Wish I was there though. Better than shouting at the telly.

Listening to commentary is awful for the nerves. Even worse is refreshing the sky sports score centre app.

'Goal action!' on Radio Lancs. Used to turn my legs to jelly.

Then working out from the next second or two’s commentary which way the goal was going.

That's the one. They used to try and deliberately throw you with the commentary.

Excellent. I'd like to have gone but wouldn't due to it being a Thursday night.

At least I'll be getting something from my sky subs

You still have to do that, even when there is full match commentary. Some commentators, not just local radio either, are quite happy to comment on what's just happened without telling you what it was. I genuinely think they don't realise that radio commentary is different from TV commentary.

Was tempted with the fanzone. Anyone got any feedback from previous matches? Is it any good?

Lady Godiva was where we met pre season in 2016 and they had live sports set up. They should have Sky.

I don’t know for sure but that’s worth checking but I’m confident they’ll show it if you ask.

Just looked at their website, I think I should be ok there. There’s another place called Mr Pickwicks that might show it too

I can't believe the timing on this. I have to be at Manchester airport for 03:30 on Friday so, originally, was planning to go to bed at 8ish. I obviously can't do that now, but I'll be doo elated/deflated to sleep afterwards. Batting through and travelling with a 2 and 4 year old at that time is not very appealing either.

What would my fellow clarets do?

Let them fend for themselves. They're old enough.

If she isn't fully clothed when she's riding down Coventry main street, she isn't going to be fully clothed on the shores of Lake Geneva.

I'm going to the game but definitely recording it to watch when I get back home. Unless we get beat then I'll be deleting it straight away. 🤣
