Gutted I missed that. I'd be interested to see who the last amateur to score a century for us was. Bet you're going back a good few years.

Yeah Maz Wilson and Jeff Ellis both came close but never quite managed it.

Halstead and Ben Johnson both tonnes up in the same game against Bacup.

Paul Wilson had a 150 in a game also.

Last ton for a Colne amateur was Arron Pollard with 136 at Rishton, think it was when Greg Mail was pro.

Just double checked it was 130 and Colne pro was Blake Snijman in 2008

Which means by my reckoning, Halstead is still the last colne batsman to score a century against anyone other than Rishton! Can we play them every week?

(Gary Hunt's one and only century was against Rishton too. The day after he got married.)
