The opening day is a Saturday and the championship from recollection has sensible scheduling meaning that long trips are listed primarily in warm weather and close trips are mainly for midweek.
Hence Sunderland is going to be midweek. We'll get something like Millwall, Watford or Qpr - probably away if it is Watford as that would be the biggest anticlimax.

If it was Watford fair chance it'll be televised I'd imagine, 2 newly relegated teams clashing on the opening weekend would be hard for them to resist.
