What about the money ALK owes to Garlick?

When ALK bought the shares from Garlick, John B, and others, we were told that there was £50m still owing and if it wasn't paid, the shares revert to Garlick and the rest.
Since then we heard rumours that the payment had been deferred.
So what happens now? Does ALK pay the money, and if so, is that another debt that Burnley FC have to pay?
Does ALK write off the money and give the shares back to Garlick?
Does ALK arrange with Garlick to defer it again?
It's a huge question and next season is heavily dependent on the answer. I bet they don't give us any clues, though.
