Murillo - Anderlecht right back linked on twitter from a Turkish account , also claiming that Rayo Vallecajo and Valencia are interested.
It’s an easy link to make for a dodgy Twitter account. We’ll be linked to any decent Anderlecht player.

£12m Pope and £12m left over from Wood and we are already making financial inroads. Cornet seems certain to go too. I can see how we will spend cash the other way. Not quite as bad as some think.

We’ve had the money for Wood, haven’t we?

Yes I think he means minus the Weghorst fee we still should have around 12m of it left unless of course that was used in the 15m loan repayment

We got half up front and we'll get the other half 12 months later the cheeky oil rich B@STARDS, any dealings from now on with them should be all up front or f off, they can afford it

I don't think the other half is coming to the club as we borrowed against it.

We’ve borrowed the other half so we could get the entire fee.

Yes I know this but the other half is still owed to us from Newcastle and when due it will be paid to "Burnley" then we'll use it to pay towards debt

It will be used to pay of the people who have advanced the full amount.

Don't know if it's already been mentioned
According to Wales Online, Burnley are taking a closer look at Joel Latibeaudiere with a view to potentially signing him from Swansea City for £500,000.
The young defender was at Manchester City when Vincent Kompany was there and, clearly, the Belgian remembers him impressing in the academy.

No the other half has already been received by us. That Newcastle payment due will now go to Macquarie Bank who we borrowed from.

It’s already been paid, by Macquarie Bank, to us.
It’s been speculated it may have gone towards the 15m we’ve paid off the 65m debt (discussed on the other thread), but there are other theories of why it was needed.
Edit - sorry think I see what you are saying now

Looks like that move for the Swansea CB could be on the cards.
They have just signed a CB from Mk Dons

(Apologies if already confirmed), but I’ve heard for sure the lad from City, Taylor Harwood Bellis, has signed up, great news. UTC

According to Nixon we are trying to get Wallace now he has left milwall, and also mcnally a CB from oxford for about £1m. Right type of signings if we can land them.

So, if rumours are correct that’s 2 CB coming in which either means Collins out or planning on playing all 3
Hopefully the latter

He did say there was a chance Collins could leave but that doesn’t mean anything - there is a chance any player could leave.

McNally has played about 30 games in league one so a big ask to come in and play at top of championship. Good buy to develop over a few years though. Will need THB and one other if Collins stays and long is still around.

Personally think between Thomas and Bedeau we're fine at centre back if we bring in Harwood-Bellis and hold onto Collins (if a little inexperienced).
Would hope McNally is being lined up to understudy to Collins this season with a view to take over if/when he's sold, very similar profile (and I don't just mean Irish centre back, really like what I've seen of him and looks really good in the data).

Nathan Collins can play cm .The way he scored for Eire recently was very Declan Riceish
A great player and one we must build our team around.

Has he ever played that position? Or are we back to the same suggestion as when Tarks arrived.... That never worked either.

Reading what their fans say he doesn't sound up to much.
Ok getting fees for our better players but to be replacing them with 3rd raters doesn't bode well for the future.
The only plus is the small fee and he is only 22, if it doesn't work out at least we shall only make a small loss

Agree RV. I was very underwhelmed about the prospect of this signing when it was muted last summer but would be perfect now as a Championship team. Would be a no brainier and a very solid signing for the rebuild.

Sounds like he got in the side towards the end of the season and did very well. As you say, small fee and only 22, VK will know of him from City.
I find 3 links to centre backs interesting, sounds like Harwood Bellis is a cert, but can’t see why we’d need 3, unless they know Collins is off.

Similar to Nixons right back story last week, Wallace is a "what if" Cornet or Mcneil leave story.

Wallace would be a good signing! You would think the logical thing is that Wallace would be a Lennon replacement. We’ve been crying out for another right winger for years!
It wouldn’t surprise me if Long is being looked into being moved on - either now or at the end of his deal. So these links with younger centre halves could be succession planning. They need to be in the building before someone can leave. I imagine Long is on quite a chunk for a ‘4th choice centre half’.

Guess now we see if Vincent can convince him to come here over West Brom
