I suspect it will mean they are first to be informed of any bids and we can’t make them outbid yet they still get permission to talk to the player.

I think we will see more of this with the young players we might bring in from big clubs. Deals weighted in their favour.

Bloody hell RV you're obsessed and way off the mark with your assumptions BUT it's entertainment and will no doubt put you in good stead in becoming the private detective you so obviously long to be. I've just relayed information I was given from some one I consider a very reliable source mentioning he'd turned Hull down and other than us Hull, Sheff Utd that Rangers were the other team with an interest but ours was the one he went for due to Kompany. IF it doesn't come to fruition I'll hold my hands up as I was lead to believe it was likely in the next 48hrs . Yes, hard to translate. In part seems to be complaining we were offered more flexible terms than Besiktas, making it sound like a done deal, but saying at the end “Standard Liege’s response is awaited”.

Anyway, we must be annoying the Besiktas fans this summer given Weghorst turned them down and we’re now trying to nab their other striker option. Bloody Burnley
